After nearly two years of hoping for him to arrive, Kingdom Hearts’ Sora will be making his way to Super Smash Bros. Ul൲timate as the final playable character. My heart was bursting at the seams upon hearing the news and seeing the wielder of the Keyblade in action. So much so, that it is officially time for me to dust off the ol’ GameCube controller and hop back into the world of Smash. Sora is single handedly bringing me back to the brawler that I stopp⛦ed playing well over a year and a half ago.
I didn’t stop playing because I got bored or uninterested in the game. It was the pandemic that ultimately prevented me from playing. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was the go-to title that my extended family and I played literally every time they came over to my house, which was nearly every single weekend. Between that and Super Mario Party, we would spend hours on the couch trading off Joy-Cons and talking lighthearted tra𝓡sh to each other. When the pandemic hit and we were forced to shelter in place for weeks on end, that pastime suddenly came to a stop, especially since I was the only one with a Switch.
For a while, I dabbled in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s online play against other random players during the lockdown, but it just wasn’t the same as the in-person experience. Now, however, my high school and college-age nephews have a Switch, which means that we’ll be able to play online, as w✤ell as in person since we’re all vaccinated (and still maintaining proper safety precautions when out in public).
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Hearts series (said tattoo sleeveꦦ also includes a Keyblade), how could I not jump back in and use Sora as my main?
I’ll be honest, though. If not for the addition of Sora to the lineup, I’d probably have little reason to suggest playing a fighter that none of us have touched in almost two years. There are just too many other great options available. But as an unwavering fan of Disney (my right arm features a tattoo sleeve of Disney characters) and theSince he was added to the roster in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, my main has always been Pit, which seems like it should translate nicely with Sora’s “floaty” characteristics. Given his lighter weight, however, I’ll likely need to be far more careful with how I use Sora, since he’s easily laun🐷ched. Mostly, I can’t wait to catch my nephews with the Keyblade-wielder’s short hop attack, followed by a forward air attack to knock them out of the stage. It’s going to be so satisfying.
What makes all of this even better is th♑at while I was holding out hope for Sora to make his way into the Nintendo universe, I wasn’t exactl🦹y waiting with baited breath. I never for a second thought that it would actually happen. My expectations have always remained in check with every new character reveal, not once thinking that a playable Kingdom Hearts character would join the ranks amongst the Final Fantasy crossover characters who were already on the Smash roster. And then it just… happened. (Granted, it’s for a long, LONG time.)
October 18 – the date that Sora gets officially added – can’t come soon enough. I guess in the meantime, I’d better prepare by jumping back into S𝓡uper Smash Bros. Ultimate to getꦬ my muscle memory back up to snuff.
Now, if we can just get 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Power Stone added to Nintendo Switch, I’ꦍll be set for life:
