A recent batch of data has revealed that Canada has a higher number of sk꧟illed gamers than the United States.
This finding comes courtesy of who wanted to take a deep dive into understanding more about 🍒the gaming patterns across the world. This includes things like which countries are best at some of the most popular games, as well as where the majority of the world's most skilled gamers reside.
In order to reach their conclusions, the folks at Kwalee used data from speedrun.com that is up to date as of April 2020. They looked at 42,032 achievements accumulated across a total of 16,709 games. To gain the overall country rankings, they apparently totalled the amount of first-place achie🐻vements scored by each cou൩ntry per capita.
So while the States did certainly make it into the esteemed ranks of the Top 20 Most Skilled Gaming Countries, it sits only at number 6 on the list. Meanwhile, the top-dog position belongs to none other than Finland, with Canada 🐲coming in at a close second. The list is as follows:
- Finland
- Canada
- Sweden
- New Zealand
- Australia
- United States of America
- Netherlands
- Scotland
- Ireland
- France
- Germany
- England
- Austria
- Denmark
- Switzerland
- Latvia
- Japan
- Estonia
- Norway
- Belgium
Pretty wild that South Korea doesn't feature, right? They apparently only came in at number 39. So while they certainly still dominate the e-sports scene, according to Kwalee's stats they f🌊all behind a bit
A few other interesting results emerged along with these, too. Kwalee boiled down a list of the world's most popular games and identified which countries are most skilled at them. Apparently, the US is best in the world at Pac-Man, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Space Invaders, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metal Gear Solid, NBA 2K, Madden, and Crazy Taxi. You guys are also the be♊st at FPS games - congrats!
Our crowning victor Finland, on the other hand, is overall the best in the world at a rather motley selection of games including 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Halo, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gran Turismo, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Half-Life, Outlast, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tomb Raider. Other interesting observations are that Japan is best at 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Animal Crossing (but also fighting games), Sweden impressively takes the lead in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Souls, Australia snags first place for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Overwatch, and Hong Kong tops the list for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Candy Crush.
Of course - while this all paints an interesting and informative picture - the 🐬data here is hardly exhaustive. The authors thus inte🍌nd to add to the pool of games they included in their initial research endeavor, and to refresh their findings continuously in the future.
