During the wild conversation, Soulja Boy made some pretty amazing claims saying that all 800 games on his consoles are completely licensed, Nintendo has expressed int🍃erest in working with him, and Fortnite will be the next big title coming his consoles' way. Epic’s PR Manager Nick Che🔯ster had some harsh words when asked about the potential of the popular free-to-play shooter making its way to the “Crank Dat” hitmaker's new business.

Ouch. They’re not wrong though — the console is in no way capa🌜ble of running the game, and there would be a lot of cheating concerns on an unregulated platform.

This is just the latest snag has faced in his new business venture. He's actually released several “video game consoles” starting in December 2018, this first two being“Soulja Handheld” ($99.99) and the 𝔍“SouljaGame Console” ($149.99). It wasn’t long until the internet caught onto this story and started figuring out what was really going on. It turns out, these affordably priced consoles were really just poorly made Chinese devices you can buy off Amazon for a fraction of what the rapper was charging. Yet, before anyone could call out the video game mogul, he cranked out two more consoles, perfectly namedꦛ "Retro SouljaBoy Mini" (priced $133.98) and the "SouljaGame Fuze" ($399.99). That’s a lot of releases in a short time, and that’s pretty costly for something that had issues running the NES classic Super Mario Bros — somﷺething even the most basic emulators can do with ease.

Then, following a reported legal threat from Nintendo, Soulja Boy went on a𝔉 tweet-storm (that included a now-deleted homophobic slur). He seemingly gave up his aspirations of selling a game system that looks like an Xbox One S with marketing ma🅰terial from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The website selling his📖 four consoles is no longer active (though he claims it was hacked), he admitted defeat, and it seemed ♏like that was that — until now, apparently.

This is just weird, and we’re not exactly sure what Soulja Boy is trying to do here. Most gamers are smart enough to realize that what he’s saying is probably not true🍸, and comments like these are very easy to verify these days. While it would be cool to see if Fortnite could run on one of these knockoff units, maybe he sho🅠uld have gotten something in writing before making such a claim.
