As much as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:South Park games are crudely humorous and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:come with tons of laughs, they can also be surprisingly challenging. That was true of the past installments like The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole, and South Park: Snow Day! takes on a roguelike card-based𝔍 approach that entails much of that same difficu🥀lty spike.

New Kid's got new powers no💯w! How kewl! Let's rank your powers, New Kid!

While you have more basic enemies in the game, like regular Archer Elves and Swarmers that can pose little to no problems during combat, there's a far bigger enemy variety the further you get in the game's main missions. Snow Day! may be a small game, but these enemies are pretty impressive to encounter.

Even the enemy ಞtypes in South Park can feature some crude 🌠adult humor and language!

8 ꦺ 🔥 Shield Bearers

You Can See Those Shields From A Mile Away

New Kid farting and flying up dealing gross out damage as Shield Bearers approach on the ground and in the distance.

As in their name, Shield Bearers are the shield enemies in South Park: Snow Day! But since the game is based on powers and magical poop abilities, the shields have an extra layer of padding with a larger glowing force shield made of the same stuff as your character's Bubble Shield power 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:to make a shield even more shield-y.

Shield enemies are troublesome because you can't directly inflict melee damage, as it's automatically blocked, and it's difficult with the way the combat system is designed to find opportunities to attack them from behind. It's best to break their guard and knock them away with a Bullrush power, or to shoot some fireballs close to their proximity with your wizard staff.

7 Assassins

Invisible Little Buggers

Close-up of an invisible Assassin enemy in South Park Snow Day!, daggers visible and character model covered in a translucent invisible cloak.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Like true assassins of the ಞBrotherhood, these enemies in Snow Day! can turn invisible and hunt you from the shadows, which in this case are thick piles of snow where you can cool down from burn attacks. Assassins are also really aggressive in how they attack, by trapping you in a bear hug that you'll need to break free of.

While not the most dangerous enemies you can face, the grab trap will catch you off guard and can be a detriment to your health if you're not careful, especially with the many other enemies around you. You'll have to go for ranged weapons to break their lunges and wait for the invisibility to wear off before striking.

6 Launchers

Let That Christmas Poo Magic Rip

New Kid staring at two Cheesed Out Launcher enemies standing on a platform.

Launcher enemies are not your typical grenade or other projectile launchers in this game. They possess some of Mr. Hankey's Dark Matter magic and launch globs of it at you from the contraptions on their backs. Then, those globs turn into puddles that suddenly send out large waves of dark, thorny vines that deal damage from underneath you.

These are pretty avoidable when you have the dodge mechanic or Fart Escape power to use your toots to get to higher ground. But when there are multiple Launchers together, it can become the 'floor is lava' pretty fast and feel reminiscent of the boss fight with Kyle, who's a master at conjuring the nefariously thorny vines that hurt you.

5 ꦓ Sh*t Slingers🔯

Because Adults Are Full Of Sh*t In This Game

New Kid getting grabbed by the poop symbiote sling of a Shit Slinger on the trail to Cartman.

Chapter Four is all about the Dark Matter, or Hankey's Christmas Poo magic affecting all the adult townspeople of South Park, including Cartman's mom. The adults become the new heavy enemy type in the game, but the ones the game comically refers to as Sh*t Slingers are the worst.

They come in the latter half of the chapter and are essentially Marvel Symbiote-types. Completely drenched in sh*tty Dark Matter, their arms will sling it at you and pull you toward them like a grappling hook, which you'll need to escape from.

These are the best ones to use New Kid's cat pee Cheesing powers on to turn them into an ally for a short while as you dispose of them!

4 ꦺ 𒅌 Sixth Grader Hockey Team Jocks

Going After New Kid? Now That's Bad Sportsmanship

New Kid affected by fire damge from a Sixth Grade enemy in blue hockey gear with a flaming hockey stick on a rooftop.

The Sixth Graders, the mortal enemy of the Fourthies in South Park, return as an enemy type in South Park: Snow Day! These are the first heavy enemies you encounter, and they come not covered in magic poop, but in hockey gear 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and use a hoꦫckey stick as a melee weapon.

They can get pretty tough to deal with since their attacks are aggressive, and you can't counter them in this game — you can only try to narrowly avoid them through dodging or Fart Escaping. Sometimes they'll even have hockey sticks that catch on fire and will deal additional burn damage to New Kid. Without Cheesing or Healing Totem, "You're gonna have a bad time" as one Aspen ski instructor in South Park said.

3 Ents

Don't Expect These To Give You The Same Welcome As In The Lord Of The Rings

A tall and giant Dark Matter Ent moving into battle nearby New Kid's companions.

In Lord of the Rings, Ents are a benevolent species that help the Fellowship of the Ring. In South Park: Snow Day!, they are Kyle and Mr. Hankey's minions that serve more as massive damage-dealing minibosses that are not just a single enemy, but an entire group of three stacked on top of one another and covered in branches.

Survive and strategize your enemy-filled South Park: Snow Day💜 with these superb upgrades courtesy 🀅of Jimmy and Mr. Hankey.

Like the mythology that this enemy type is based on, Snow Day!'s Ents are one of the tallest enemies in the game. Their movements are erratic, and they spin into you like a saw blade to cause significant damage. When the Ent disperses, you have three added foes on the ground to deal with, so dodging, Healing Totem power, and your ranged staff will come in handy.

2 Ice Mages

Apparently Mages Are Skilled Snipers Now

Two Ice Mages on a rooftop, one firing their weapon with a laser sight on New Kid.

South Park: Snow Day! even has a sniper enemy class that is about as bothersome as you'd expect. Called Ice Mages, these are simply more advanced Archers. They stick to rooftops and have a crossbow with a laser aimed at you and your companions, which will turn you into a block of ice that you need to break free from.

It's very similar to the mechanics of the Assassin types, except that these are ranged enemies very far away from you, so after you button mash to break out, that laser gets aimed right back on their targets. It'll slow you down and it's sometimes hard to avoid when you're already facing a massive wave on the ground. These are also excellent enemies to Cheese once you can get to them.

1 Bulrog

Bulrog? More like Bullsh*t

New Kid confronting Bulrog and Cartman in the boss arena prior to the fight.

If there was a Bullsh*t Card based on an enemy, this is the one you'd want to summon to completely obliterate the other side. In fact, its placement in the game during Chapter Four's boss fight was so BS compared to the previous ones that it turned South Park: Snow Day! 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:into full-on Elden Ring.

Bulrog is a snow Golem form of Eric Cartman summoned during the boss fight at the end of Chapter Four, based on the Naruto riff episode 'Good Times with Weapons.' You're only meant to be doing damage to Cartman during the fight, but this Golem will relentlessly swing a giant staff and perform belly flop body slams on you, making things incredibly difficult and impossible. All that's missing is the 'You Died' screen.
