168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Spider-Man 2 is fruity. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Insomniac Games featured a smattering of pride flags throughout the first game’s vision of Manhattan, bu♈t aside from that, kept things pretty s🦩traight. The sequel, meanwhile, is filled with distinct LGBTQ+ representation everywhere you look, from walls of street art to smaller side quests Peter and Miles can take on to help the local communities.
Peter and Harry might be straight besties (you’ll never stop🌱 me from shipping them), but major side characters express their queerness in ways that not only prove surprising, but tie into canon elements of recent big comic developments that ev🎉en hardcore fans weren’t expecting to be acknowledged.

Starfield Killed My Hype For Th🍎e Elder Scrolls💦 6
After Starf🍰ield, I'm not sure I care about The Elder Scrolls 6 anymore.
Take Black Cat, who instead of jumping between former hideouts to tease Peter in the lead up to a൲ heist, is playing around with Doct🧸or Strange’s belongings to open a portal to Paris to reach her girlfriend. We know she once had a thing with Peter, and this story development confirms her bisexuality with a casual admittance of love and care that doesn’t need to be overexplained. It is who she is, and Miles only needs to hear that someone she cares about is in danger to help her out.
Spider-Man 2 never hesitates to paint its world, even one filled with supervillains and alien goo monsters - as a safe space for marginalised people. Blac𒉰k Cat’s bisexual identity fits brilliantly with her character as a seductive burglar willing to pull vulnerable men into her grasp before taking advantage of them, only to subvert their pursuits in favour of loving another woman. While she tricks Spider-Man in exchange for quick riches, she’s eager to seek help and cast aside h𒐪er criminal aspirations because it’s the right thing to do. Even then, she still blows kisses after caving a thug’s skull in and hopping into a mysterious portal.
There’s also Brooklyn Visions Academy, where Miles is a student on the cusp of attending college. As a high school in the present day, it’s natural to assume it would be home to so many young students who𝓀 have grown up in a world where queerness is far more accepted. When Miles is asked to help a couple get together for Homecoming, it was a cute surprise to learn it was two boys crushing on one another who were already in a committed relationship, but those nerves of going to such a big event together still rema🏅ined.
I rigged the local electronics to display a cutesy homecoming invite on the quad monitor, all before luring this potential sweetheart to the right location by pullin𝓰g open posters and using small distractions dotted across campus all to showcase his partner’s love. Everything goes to plan, and before I know it the two students are holding hands and embracing each other. It’s so cute, and exactly what Spider-Man 2 is all about: heroes willing to help anyone and everyone in need of assistance. Whether they’re fighting for their life or head over heels for cute boys, your friendly neighbourhood wall crawler is there whenever you need him.
What really cemented Spider-Man 2’s intentions for me was an entire street in Manhattan that is not just home to a rainb💎ow pride flag, but the transgender, bisexual, gay, ace, pan, and lesbian flags too. An entire spectrum of representation for players to see, and know they’ve been seen and heard by Insomniac even in a superhero adventure like this.
The Emily-May Foundation is also home to a non-binary scientist performing experiments to help salvage the local bee population, with two pride flags situated in a mug near their desk. It is a part of the world that doesn’t need to be pointed out, as normalised as the real world that Spider-Man 2 aspires to replicate. Sony has done a fantastic job in recent years with games like this, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Horizon Zero Dawn, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us putting queer characters front and centre, either through main characters or their stacked supporting casts. Certain gamers may🦂 have a problem with this, but by continuing to champion this representation we’ll only come to phase such bigots out.
