Issue #5 of Spider-Man Unlimited Infinity finally addresses where The Avengers are in Insomniac Games' universe, as well as acknowledging that it's basically just Spidey in that version of New York City.

Although Spider-Man, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and are self-contained Spidey adventures that don't delve too much into other Marvel superheroes, we know for certain that heroes like The Avengers, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and Daredevil exist in the Insomniac Games universe thanks to landmarks dotted around New York City.

Spider- Man 2 is a sequel that plays it sa✱fe and takes risks i൩n equal measure, giving Peter and Miles powerful independent journeys that intertwine

Even if we know that there are other superheroes out there, it's a little strange that Spider-Man never runs into any of them during the events of his games, especially considering some of the massive threats that face the city. Insomniac might not be ready to properly reference such A-list superheroes in its games, but the ongoing run of Spider-Man Unlimited Infinity does at least address the Hulk in the room.

, Spider-Man Unlimited Infinty's fifth issue features 616 Spider-Man fighting and then teaming up with Peter Parker from the Insomniac Games universe (or multiverse, take your pick). Previous issues have already given us a look at how Insomniac's Peter is dealing with Aunt May's death and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:confirmed that he hasn't yet met Gwen Stacy.

After the two Spider-Men fight and make up, they decide that they need to go to a lab to create a device that lets them follow The Spot. After joking that they're both too broke to have their own lab space, 616 Spider-Man leads Insomniac's Peter to The Avengers mansion, noting that he has "cool friends".

While there, Insomniac Peter says that he can't believe that 616 Spider-Man is a member of The Avengers, before poking fun at them never appearing in his games by saying, "Where I'm from, they're always gone". This seems to imply that, although the team's tower is still active in New York City and can be found in the open world, The Avengers themselves are off solving problems around the world.

Later in the same issue, 616 Spider-Man also asks Insomniac's Spidey how many heroes there are in his version of Manhattan. He replies, "Regularly? Maybe half a dozen. You've got more?", which is again poking fun at the fact that Spider-Man appears to be one of the only active heroes in New York City in the Insomniac Games universe. It's not the most concrete answer in the world, but at least Insomniac Games and its Spider-Man are acknowledging the lack of superheroes in his world.
