Jesse Jacobs is a man that clearly has had more than one bad trip. His first video game, Spinch, puts you in control of a tiny white ball in a very col𝐆orful world, only everything is out to get🔴 you.

In Spinch, you play as the mother of all Spinch. Your tiny Spinch children have all been kidnapped by a💫 giant floating head, and it’s up to you to find them.

It's definitely a platformer, with the player able to dash, dodge, a♕nd jump in order to avoid attacks from multicolored robots and rainbow worms. In fact, anything that's not colored white is probably trying to kill you, so it's very easy to keep track of what to avoid.
There's no lives or game over conditions in Spinch, but there are quick restarts if you get stuck. This makes Spinch a forgiving and family-friendly game, but also one that's ideally suited for ꦕspeedrunners who want to git gud.
Spinch will span 6 levels with each ending in a boss fight. Level range from neon plains to experimental labs, from frozen tundras to outer space, and all of them more colorful th🐽an the last.
Everything in Spinch is inspired by Canadian cartoonist Jesse Jacobs's distinctive style, which focuses on bright, bold, and simple colors along with expressive lines. The Doug Wright Award-winning illustrator loves to explore spirituality, alternate realities, and psychedelia, along with the blending of nature and technology.
