If ever there were a face of cartoon fashion, it would be SpongeBob Squarepants. Second only perhaps to Mickey Mouse, SpongeBob has donned more outfits, costumes, and physical states of being over the course of his illustrious cartoon career than nearly any other character. Who would've thought before 1999 that a yellow square could be so adaptable, design-wise?

In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:SpongeBob SquarePants: Thꦡe Cosmic Shake, with the help of the Cosmic Jelly SpongeBob gathers and the precise handiwork of Madame Kassandra, SpongeBob can don a variety of wacky costumes. Many of these outfits are reminiscent of SpongeBob's past shenanigans and adventures, and some are downright iconic in the moments they represent.

10 Employee Of The Month 𒁏

SpongeBob's Employee of the Month costume in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake

It's been such a long time that it's easy to forget that SpongeBob didn't always work for the Krusty Krab. He was hired on after proving himself in a bout of impressive fast-foodsmanship in the series' very first episode, "Help Wanted," all to the tune of Tiny Tim's "Living in the Sunlight."

Since then, his official Krusty Krab hat has become one of his signature accessories, ri𓆉ght next to his trademar🎉k square pants. Give Mr. Krabs this, he knows how to make a distinctive (and cost-conscious) employee uniform.

9 KarateBob

Here's something strange: in most instances where he's shown to be performing some kind of physical activity, SpongeBob is generally portrayed as a weakling. His entire arms have disintegrated from exertion on more than one occasion. Yet, when he dons his karate gear to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:practice with Sandy, he suddenl🍸y becomes much more physically capable.

Perhaps it's an image thing; he can only be strong when he's in a martial arts mindset. Or, dare we suggest that SpongeBob may be holding his true strength back, only willing to demonstrate it when there's a protective foam cover on his hands? Hmm... nah, probably not.

8 KuddlyBob

In the episode "Bossy Boots," Mr. Krabs invites his daughter Pearl to manage the Krusty Krab for the summer. She promptly revamps the entire restaurant into the "Kuddly Krab" including these... interesting floral-patterned un൩iforms.

Squidward and Mr. Krabs weren't really into it, but SpongeBob actually quite liked the aesthetic, which is why Mr. Krabs let him keep all the pastel stuff after Pearl was fired. And it only cost him one year's salary! Great deal, really.

7 The Quickster 🐈

In the fifth appearance of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, the latter ditches his partner to become evil after feeling disrespected. To fight the newly assembled forces of evil, Mermaid Man recruited SpongeBo𓄧b, Squidward, Patrick, and Sandy to fight as the International Justice League of Super Acquaintances (a subsidiary of Via- sorry,𒀰 Paramount).

SpongeBob is gifted with The Quickster's outfit and super speed, though he only ever did two things with it: allegedly to a mountain and back, and run in a circle so fast that he vaporized himself. It's fine, though, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy worked things out on their own afterward.

6 Housemaid

In the episode "Can You Spare a Dime?," Squidward gets fired from the Krusty Krab after Mr. Krabs accuses him o෴f stealing his first dime. Out of the goodness of his heart, SpongeBob invites Squidward to stay with him until he can get back on hi💧s feet.

Squidward promptly takes advantage of SpongeBob, running him ragged and, for reasons we may never know, forcing him to wear this maid getup. Unwilling though it may have been, we do 🧜have to admit that SpongeBob looked 🦩pretty good in this outfit. Black on yellow is often a flattering combination.

5 Clown

SpongeBob's Clown costume in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake

This is a bit of an odd one, not so much in the costume itself, but in its description. At a glance, it's just an ordinary clown wig, but for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:those in the know, it's actually a reference to the classic Salty Spittoon bit from the episode "Salty Sponge."

After being denied from the tough-guy establishment, SpongeBob is advised by the patrons of Weenie Hut Jr.'s to change his hair. Later, a sponge with a stylish black pompadour attempts to enter the establishment, claiming to be a drifter. Immediately after, SpongeBob shows up wearing this wig, expecting entry as well. He does not get it.

4 Dried ♒Sponge ౠ

The first time SpongeBob met Sandy in "Tea at the Treedome," he misinterpreted her asking if he was okay with "air" as being a fancy person. Turns out he wasn't ready to enter her water-less treedome, and promptly dried out, going kooky with thirst.

Besides being a generally amusing bit in its own right, that episode was also one of the first to showcase the show's affinity for unsettling extreme close-ups. There's a very particular flavor of funny to an extreme zoom of SpongeBob's cracked, dried face as he desperately tries to insist to himself that he doesn't need water.

3 RoboBob Steel🦹Pants 🍃

SpongeBob's RoboBob SteelPants costume in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake

Rather than a nod from the show, this outfit is actually a reference to the final boss of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom (and by extension, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated). Plankton's malfunctioning robot cloning device made robotic knockoffs of everyone in town, including both himself and SpongeBob, the former of which intended to take the latter as his bride. Weird, but no weirder than Plankton himself marrying his computer.

This is an especially cool outfit because it's the only one with unique animations. RoboBob floats freely along the ground on his leg jets, and when he speaks, his mouth flaps up and down like a carnival fortune-teller machine.

2 Band Geeks Unifꦯorm

SpongeBob's Band Geeks costume in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake

"Band Geeks" is quite possibly one of the most universally-beloved episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants ever produced. It's jam-packed with hilariously quotable moments, has long served as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:fodder for internet memes, and gave us one of the most𝐆 incredible musical numbers 💯ever seen in a cartoon.

SpongeBob and company, clad in these very uniforms, performed an impromptu rock ballad at a random sporting event at Bikini Bottom's Bubble Bowl. That song, "Sweet Victory," is still a regular request for real-life Super Bowl performances to this very day.

1 Wizard

SpongeBob's Wizard costume in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake

Here's something to ponder on: from a pure storytelling standpoint, the ending to the original SpongeBob movie makes no sense. Plankton and his minions are bearing down on SpongeBob, prompting him to give a speech about why it's okay to be a kid, and then he spontaneously transforms into a laser-blasting wizard and frees everyone.

Why, then, has nobody ever complained about that ending? Simple: it's incredible. The sheer spectacle of SpongeBob wielding a peanut-shaped, laser-blasting guitar, backed by a mash-up of the Goofy Goober theme song and Twisted Sister's "I Wanna Rock" is such an awe-inspiring spectacle, that no one would ever dare to find something wrong with it. It is truly the ending, and the outfit, that defies the very boundaries of logic.
