Square Enix has announced a Toky🦄o Game Show livestream on October 1 titled Square Enix Presents TGS 2021.
. The account Tweeted out an image of the Square Enix Presents website, which has more details on the💟 lineu🎶p and stream.
, "Mark your calend🐠ars for Tokyo Game Show: our Japanese presentation "SQUARE ENIX PRESENTS TGS2021" will be streamed starting October 1st at 7pm JST! English subtitles or interpretation will be available for some programming - please stay tuned!"
reveals that we can expect to see Forspoken, Guardians of the Galaxy, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Project Triangle Strategy, Collection of SaGa, and a range of Final Fantasy mobile titles. Curiously, there's no mention of Final Fantasy 16, which seems to be missing the show, unless it shows up during the main livestream.
. October 1 will have a two-hour livestream called "Square Enix Presents TGS 2021", which will then be followed up by a Lounge Jam with Square Enix music, and a Forspoken TGS special. The Saturday livestream on October 2 will focus on Guardians of the Galaxy, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and a 🐭special livestream focused on the SaGa series. Finally, October 3 will show footage of Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier and the Final Fantasy trading card game.
Although Final Fantasy 16 seems to be a pretty glaring omission from the lineup, Square Enix has previously said that it wasn't sure if the game was going to make it to TGS as the team is focused on its development. It's not confirmed that it won't be a part of the show just yet anyway, just that it's not listed as being part of the lineup and doesn't have its own dedicated section during TGS. If it's going to show up anywhere, it'll be during the main show.
