In a post published on the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Google Stadia community blog, the team behind the cloud gaming service claims it will add over 100 games to the platform in 2021. “Over the next few weeks and mo♕nths, players can expect to see e෴verything from action-filled RPGs to competitive co-op titles and nimble platformers,” the post read.
Earliꦺer this month, Google announced it would shut down all of its internal Stadia game development teams. The company added that it would being focusing on partnerships with third-party game developers, which would benefit from Stadia’s te𓂃chnology and platform tools.
“We believe this is the best path to building Stadia into a long-term, sustainable business t☂hat helps grow the industry,” Stadia GM Phil Harrison said.
Google is shuttering the Montreal and Los Angeles Stadia development studios and cancelling their current projects. The closures will affect roughly 150 developers, although Google ie expected to relocate tꦫhem to other positions within the company.
Jade Raymond, founder of Ubisoft Toronto and Motive Studios, announced she was leaving Stadia Games and Entertainment, as well as Google, on February 1. The Typhoon Studios team, which developed last year’s 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Journey to the Savage Planet, is also slated to depart the company.
Despite the closures, Stadia, which was launched in November 2019, as well as its $10 monthly Stadia Pro service will continue. The platform streams games to players up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with support for high-dynamic-range v♈ia the company's data centers.
Stadia’s forthcoming releases include Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition (Feb. 23), Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut (Feb.𒅌 23), It came from space and ate our brains (Mar. 2), FIFA 21 (꧑Mar. 17), Kaze and the Wild Masks (Mar. 26), Judgment (Apr. 23), Killer Queen Black, Street Power Football, and Hellpoint.
“These games represent just a sampling of the more than 100 games that will be added to th✨e Stadia store for our play🍷ers in 2021,” the blog post read.
Google had previously announced plans to launch a new studio headed by Shannon Studstill, the former VP of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:God of War developer Santa Monica Studio. However, Stadia has struggled to develop original content and com✤pete with Sony's PlayStation Now, Nvidia's GeForcওe Now, Amazon's Luna, and Microsoft's Xbox Cloud Gaming.
