The Stanley Parable is a game filled to the brim with wit, hilarity, and great easter eggs. As you scramble to find the multiple endings to the game, you will come across some great hidden references secreted th♑roughout the narrative.
This cult classic is chock-full with witty dialogue, hilarious endings, and great hidden details. With the gameplay mainly consisting of making a choice between two outcomes, Crows Crows Crows managed to scatter throughout The Stanley Parable some 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:amazing easter eggs.
10 Wait, Stanley, Can Fly? 💮
After enabling the developer console in the Steam directory and assigning a key to it, The Stanley Parable has an entire assortment of console commands that can be entered. However, unlike other games, The Stanley Parable has several that are seemingly random.
After entering "IMABIRD" in the console, Stanely will begin to.... levitate? Stanley will gently float into the air and, although this doesn't give you the ability to fly over any and all objects, your POV will change so drastically that you will be able to see all the hidden details in the map that you would otherwise not be able to.
9 🐭 Is Stanley Really Aꦜlone?
Contrary to what the Narrator will tell you at the start, it is possible to see, on rare occasions and entirely up to luck, other employees in the office. The Narrator tells us thꦚat all of our coworkers have gone, but this easter egg hints that The Narrator has been lying to us.
If players are quick enough, they can run out of Stanley's office and run to employee 425's desk. Upon doing so, there is a slim chance that you will see an obscured employee slowly making his way down the hallꦰway before disappearing from your line of sight.
8 Who's Leaving All These Messages?
After exiting Stanley's office, there is a slight chance that you will get one of three messages on the answering machine of employee 434. Interestingly, these easter eggs appear to confirm t♈hat there is wider life outside of Stanley and The Narrator.
There are three voice messages that can be left. The first is a message from someone claiming to be Stanley's wife who's called to inform you of what to pick up from the shops. There's also a chance of a stranger informing you of the dangers of recorded messages and, finally, an employee of the Future Happiness Foundation confirming a huge shipment of cardboard boxes.
7 Is This Stanley's Payday?
Out of Stanley's monotonous job of pressing buttons would he even have the time for a second career? During the 'Confusion' ending, and if you slightly deviate from following the Stanley Parable Adventure Line, behind some cardboard boxes near a dead end you'll find a very interesting mask.
You will find the mask belonging to Dallas, a character in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:smash-hit game Payday, perhaps just a nod to a faಌntastic game about bank robbing, or maybe a subtle hint that one of the employees migh𒁃t have forgotten to take their masks with them.
6 Who Is William? 💯Why Is He Great? 🔜
Like so many great easter eggs, this one takes place outside of the map and can only be accessed by the keenest of hunters. When looking into the window of Employee 424, there is an out-of-bounds grey area that isn't accessible without having noclip on.
When noclip is activated (or at least some console command to open every door) and you go into the grey area and around the corner, you will find on the wall written in bold red "WILLIAM IS GREAT." William could be the director at Crows Crows Crows or just ജa ve♛ry lucky person in need of a compliment.
5 Po𝓰etry On The Toilet
What better place to whim about Whitman than on the toilet? In The Stanley Parable, it is possible that, after a random amount of completions, the door to the Boss' toilet will be open.
Inside, you can find one of three randomised poems scrawled onto the walls. Although this is of little consequence, it's another part of the map that players would otherwise never be able to explore.
4 What's Raphael And Facepunch?
Following the theme of hilarious console commands, there are definitely a lot to choose from. But, to name some of the best, 'Raphael' and 'Facepunch' have the funniest and most impactful results on the game.
When 'Facepunch' is typed into the console, every texture in the map will be replaced with the Facepunch logo drawn with a red marker. If 'Raphael' is typed in the console, every single line of dialogue that The Narrator says will be replaced wit🥀h The Narrator saying "Stanley" in a hilarious voice.
3 Don't Talk To Employee 432
One of the most 𝓰hi𒊎larious easter eggs is the recurring joke that everyone hates Employee 432. Scattered throughout the entire map are very subtle hints at the fact that the entire company hates them.
When exiting Stanley's office, you can see that Employee 432's desk just has a pencil sharpener, meaning they can't even be trusted with a computer. Later, when going into the room with the board meeting, you can see on the whiteboard and paper small text saying "Don't tell 432 about the meeting" or "What to do about 432".
2 Eleಌvator Room Boogie With The Narrator
Occasionally when entering the Boss' floor (at the end of the corridor and to the right) the double doors will be open. At the end of the newly opened room is an unseen elevator room where Stanley can call the elevator and step inside.
Once inside, Stanley and The Narrator get to listen to some 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:groovy elevator-style music and you'll be treated to the Narrator's awkward humming and under-his-breath dialogue. Occasionally there is singing along or awkward🍸 coughing. Geꦜtting to experience the socially awkward scenario as the Narrator tries to fill in the silence is an unforgettable easter egg.
1 Stanley's Secret Disco
After going in🔯to the Monitor Room, press every single button, but make sure that after you press the last one, you do absolutely nothing. Do not enter the elevator and make sure you wait for at least a minute and the doors behind you will reopen.
Once they reopen, press the light grey button and enjoy. All the monitors in the room will start flashing in disco colors with hilarious dialogue rotating around the room accompanied by party music. Strangely, this is a rare case where the Narrator doesn't react so, sadly, it's a party for one.
