The character in question is Jango Fett clone and Delta Squad member RC-1262, better known as Scorch. In the scene, Hemlock and Scorch are attempting to board a ship to flee Tantiss, but it is destroyed by Crosshair before it can land. Crosshair and fellow villain Hunter then turn their attention to Scorch, who is shot multiple times in the chest by the pair before falling limp off the bridge he's standing on into the jungle below.

Scorch's death is a little anti-climactic, which is kind of understandable since he doesn't play that big of a role in The Bad Batch, but those who know the character from Republic Commando . Scorch is considered a fan-favorite among many Republic Commando fans, and think that The Bad Batch has done him dirty, with one fan describing his death as Disney giving them "the middle finger".
A lot of the issues that fans have seem to stem from how little of a role Scorch actually plays in the show, arguing that he was only added to convince fans of Republic Commando to actually watch.
