After a fine run lasting nearly two-and-a-half years, Star Wars: Battlefront 2's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:topsy-turvy adventure has come to an end. EA announced at the end of April that support for the game would be ending, withꦆ the team intervening only to sort out any minor issues like bugs and things that hamper the player's experience of playing the game.

Many, though, feel the title should have beꦚen given more maps and characters before the plug was pulled. So we now take a look at five of each that fans would have loved to have gotten.

10 📖 Maps: 🔯Mustafar

Is there a better lightsaber duel in the whole of S꧂tar Wars than Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi's ? Potentially not. The scene 𒅌involving the pair may be 15 years old but, to this day, still gives us goosebumps.

So it would have been really cool to play out your own lightsaber battles at the iconic location. Mustafar was on the Battlefront 2 PS2 and Xbox game and it wa⛎s a thrilling arena, with the lava making it extra-difficult to navigate 💖around. A next-gen import would have been something else.

9 ꦓ Characters: Mace Windu

Mace Windu is a hero of The Clone Wars TV series and the prequel trilogy, with Samuel L. Jackson portraying💞 the role of the Jedi Master to perfection.

He’s the only character in the movies to fight with a purple lightsaber — something Jackson himself insisted on. It would have made for a nice change to be able to wield this in battle, particularly on iconic locations such as Geonosis, Naboo and Felucia. He proves in Attack of the Clones just how ruthless he can be in combat ওbut the developers apparently had different plans instead.

8 🔜 Mapꦆs: Exegol

Exegol is a planet only introduced in The Rise of Skywalker, the final movie of the saga. But, given it was the backdrop to the final battle between the Resistance and the Final Order, it would have made sense to include it in Battlefront 2.

It would have made a superb addition to Starfighter Assault and Starfighter Arcade, especially if vehicles like Poe Damaron's꧟ X-Wing and Sith Troope🐼r transport was ported in too. Unfortunately, that may have to wait for any potential sequel — if that happens.

7 🔥 Charact🍸ers: Orson Krennic

When it was announced that the beautiful beach planet of Scarif would be coming to Battlefront 2, that sent fans into a frenzy. Many were convinced it was a clue that, just like in t꧂he first game, Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic would be on their way.

Now we know that’s not the case — and it’s a shame. Jyn was fun to play as but Krennic, with his swish white cape and deadly blast💯er, was easily the better of the two. Again it seems like we’ll just have to wait to see the Imperial villain in action some point in the future.

6 Maps: Utapau ཧ

Another classic map from the original Star Wars Battlefront 2 game was Utapau. It mad💞e for quite a thrilling experience, with players able to channel their inne꧂r Clone Troopers, Battle droids and much, much more while fighting it out on the planet’s marshy terrain.

It would have been a welcome addit🥃ion to the game, particularly given it’s the place where General Grievous and Obi-Wan Keಌnobi have their final duel to the death. Alas, it wasn’t to be.

5 Characters: Padmé Amidala ♋

Padme Amidala in the Star Wars prequel film sitting in the Jedi Council room.

Deadly with a blaster, full of courage and with a dressing room that even the 𒁏most-f🤡ashionable people in the world would only dream of. Of course we’d have loved Padmé Amidala to make her way onto the battlefield.

Given how she was a vital character i✅n the prequels and TV shows — especially compared Bossk — it’s a crying shame that we never got the chance to play as the Queen of Naboo. Modders have done a fantastic job of putting her in the game but, for co🅘nsole players, the wait will go on.

4 Maps👍: Jedi Temple

Coruscant is a city that’s years ahead of it’s time. When it first debuted in 1999’s The Phantom Menace it became an instant fan favorite with its amazing skyline now making it one of the most-iconic locations in the whole of Star Wars.

Again, it was in the original Battlefront 2 title. It was🥀 immensely satisfying fighting it out at the Jedi Temple, allowing you to play out the gruesome Order 66 in your own brutal way. Granted the graphics weren’t great but, given how stellar EA’s version of the game is, it would have looked from a different world on the current generation of💜 platforms.

3 🦄 Characters: Asajj Ventress

All the dark side users in the game are great ♈fun to play as, and each bring something different. From Darth Vader to Kylo Ren — to quote Darth Maul from the Clone Wars — it’s ‘never been stronger’.

But while that’s the case we still feel a tad sad that Asajj Ventress never made it in. Granted she switches sides throughout the 🥀Clone Wars TV series but, regardless, it would have been great to take to the battlefi🃏eld with her. Prequel content was great but, as well as Ventress, fans still wish they’d got another character from the show…

2 M🥃aps: Sullust ꦬ

The first Star Wars Battlefront game made by EA, re🍃leased in 2015, was divisive. But just about nearly everybody can agree that Sullust was a special map to play on, a feast for the eyes and a thrilling 🎐arena for you to play out your wildest Star Wars fantasies.

What makes it even more frustrating that it didn’t make it into the sequel is that a mission of the campaign takes place where involving Lando Calrissian and Shriv Suurgav. Fortunately we’re able to enjoy it still on Battlefront 2’s predecessor.

1 Characters: Ahsoka꧋ Tano

When Ahsoka Tano first appeared in The Clone Wars, many were skeptical. A p❀adawan to the divisive Anakin Skywalker certainly seemed a risky move. However, all these years on, any concerns have been vanquished.

Ahsoka is hugely popular and will reportedly appear in season two of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Mandalorian, in scenes that have the potential to excite even the most unhappy of fans. Should that happen as expected it will only highlight what we already know: she should have been a playable character in Battlefront 2.
