As announced during today's Nintendo Direct, the original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars: Battlefront games are coming to Switch on March 14 courtesy of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered developer Aspyr.
This bundle will also be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series🦩 X/S, and Steam.
"Fight in iconic battles from across the Star Wars galaxy in this collection of two classic games," the Direct announcer said. "Up to 64 players can strike back against familiar faces in massive online battles. This collection includes additional playable characters such as Kit Fisto and additional maps like Jabba's Palace."
The other maps included are as follows: Bespin: Cloud City, Rhen Var: Harbor, Rhen Var: Citadel, and Yavin 4: Arena. To boot, Kit Fisto isn't the only extra character joining the fray. Iconic Clone Wars villain and Count Dooku padawan Asajj Ventress will be available in Battlefront 2 ahead of her return in the Bad Batch series. She was a downloadable extra on the original Xbox, but now, she's included as part of the roster by default.
The Classic Collection does not include Renegade or Elite Squadron. It's made up of the first two Battlefront games.
Kit Fisto was only playable in Battlefront 2 via an Xbox Live patch, never being added to the PSP or PlayStation 2 versions of the game. But with the new Classic Collection, there will finally be parity across platforms. There is also support for cross-gen multiplayer, so if you're on PS5, you can still party up with those on PS4.
Of course, it's not all PvP, as both games feature campaigns that include battles from across the saga. However, it's worth noting that these stories are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:considered a part of "Leg🐎ends" now, meaning they are not canon.
Battlefront 2's Hero Assault has also been expanded to include all ground maps, meaning that you can fight with iconic Star Wars characters across the Death Star, Kashyyyk, Kamino, and Naboo. The full roster is as follows:

The first Battlefront originally launched in 2004, followed by🦋 the iconic 2005 sequel. Battlefield developer DICE released a reboot in 2015, which got its own sequel in 2017.
