Immensely popular YouTu🥂be channel, Star Wars Explained has also added to the voices against Quantic Dream's involvement in the franchise. The channel will not be covering the game as long as Cage is involved, due to his 🅷"disgusting behavior, especially towards women and the queer community".
This has been a common sentiment among fans since the teaser trailer was shown at The Game Awards. The showcase itself attracted criticism for platforming Quantic Dream, especiallyꦫ considering Geoff Keighley's speech at t✅he beginning, calling on the industry to treat its workers better.
Bigotry is not the only allegation hanging over Cage's head. Quantic D⭕ream is also accused of implementing excessive crunch, up to 35 additional hours per week in the final year of a game's development. The HR department has also been accused of violating French labour laws, terminating contracts before they were set to expire. The instances of sexism also appear to bleed ♏into the workplace culture, as some workers have reported photoshopped images of staff as porn stars and nazis being posted across the office.
Quantic Dream has previously been ordered to to emp♛loyees affected but this alleged toxic workplace cult🦂ure. One ruling of unfair dismissal was in appeals, however.
