Star Wars Eclipse stunned fans with its 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:gloಞssy cinematic reveal trailer in 🔴late 2021. Now, almost two years on, developer 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Quantic Dream has nothing to show for it, as we're yet to get any more details on the game, let alone a look at how it actually plays. Now, Quantic Dream is having to reassure us that the game "still exists", it's just "simmering" for now, whatever that means.

This comes after a reportedly troubled development, with Qu🦋antic Dream said to be struggling to retain staff. This has been linked to previous complaints that the studio has a toxic work environment, as well as claims that its boss, David Cage, likes to throw around homophobic and sexist slurs. Perhaps due to this, the company still has many vacancies open, supporting claims that it's struggling to recruit devs to work on Star Wars Eclipse.

After being a no-show during showcase season yet again, ꦜ asks Lisa Pendse, VP of marketing for Quantic Dream, how development ꦏis going.

“Can I say it still exists? Because it exists,” says Pendse. “It's just not ready. It's simmering.” She didn't comment on the state of the game outside of this, giving us no further insight into its development, or when we can expect to hear some news from the project.

In the short time Star Wars Eclipse has been known to the public, it has already found itself mired in controversy. As well as the aforementioned complaints from works of toxicity within Quantic Dream, it's also dealing with a large group of 🎐fans vowing to boycott i𝔍t altogether. Shortly after being revealed, #BlackoutStarWarsEclipse started trending on Twitter, supported by influential figures within the Star Wars fanbase. They called on Lucasfilm Games (formally LucasArts) to end its partnership with Quantic Dream, citing the time Cage was , "We dꦛo not make games for fags," and also, ꦛ"In my games, all women are whores."

With all of these factors in mind, it's said that Star Wars Eclipse won't launch until at least 2027. If we're about to enter 2024 with no concrete news on when the next trailer will be, that's not too hard to believe. Couple that with claims that Quantic Dream leaked its own story details to gaug🦂e interest in the game, and it's looking pretty likely that the studio is still deciding how to approach Eclipse's development. We'll have to wait and see if the new year brings in any more news, or if we're stuck with that announcement trailer for even longer.
