While it was announced in 2021, the remake has actually been in development for six years now, but we've yet to see anything of the game aside from a pre-rendered shot of Revan. Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors said in an investor call that there's still "some time left" until it'll be ready, so the wait continues.

As far back as 2022, Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier said that expecting the game to launch in 2024 is "wishful thinking"𒉰;, so it's increasingly unlikely to launch this year.

It was even assumed to be dead last year due to the lack of updates and worrying reports, but two people from Saber reportedly told Schreier in December that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the game is still in development. However, he couldn't comment on whether it will actually be released.

Another reporter, Jeff Grubb, added that the game is "very unlikely to happen without a partner like Sony. And Sony seems to want nothing to do with it now." He also said that Lucasfilm "doesn't want to [fund it] and probably wouldn't". Hopefully, we'll hear more concrete details soon.
