The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wa𒀰rs: Knights of the Old Republic remake is in a pretty weird place right now. Despite 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:only bei🍎ng revealed less than a y🍸ear ago, it's already been 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:hit with an unexpected delay, and an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ev💃en more unexpected change of developer. As was revealed this week, Aspyr is out, and Saber Interactive is in. And now, it turns out that this change of hands won't be as seamless as the publisher is promising.

According to Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, the KOTOR remake needs so much more work that even a release by 2024 is "wishful thinking". This comes after Embracer Group reassured investors that it doesn't expect "any material delays", with some reports even suggesting it would be with us by the end of this year.

"If you believe that an entire-ass video game can just seamlessly switch developers without any delays, I've got a Wookiee to sell you", Jason Schreier (spotted by ), who originally got the scoop on the game's messy development cycle.

He later doubled down on this claim that "even 2024 is wishful thinking unless they pare down the scope of the project". This was in response to a report that the game could release as soon as late 202🍌2, d💟espite earlier claims that it had been delayed indefinitely.

KOTORRemake

Even before Schreier's comments, the suggestion that the KOTOR remake would be ready to release by Q4 2022 was largely dismissed by fans. Ever since its short teaser last September, we've seen nothing from the game at all. So all we have to go on is a few frames of a masked Revan - hardly inspiring confidence.

This recent mess apparently stems from the fact that Sony and Lucasfilm weren't happy with how the game was coming along. They were reportedly shown a "vertical slice" of the project so far, with the decision to change developers allegedly based on this demo's poor quality.

Not much is coming out of official channels, and it remains to be seen if KOTOR makes any showcase appearances this year. However, given everything we've just gone over, that's looking increasingly unlikely.
