A listing for a Star Wars Racer and Star Wars🦄 Republic Commando Switch Bundle has been spotted on (thanks, ). The Star Wars Racer and Commando Combo will be available on November 16, and cost £29.99 (roughly $41).ꦍ
Both games were rereleased last year and ported to the Nintendo💝 Switch. Star Wars Episode 1 Racer performed pretty decently on the handheld. The controls were responsive and the load times were very short. Besides the aged visuals, it was an overall good rerelease for fans of the game.
Unfortunately, Republic Commando did not enjoy the same port quality as Racer. The game suffered from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:frame rate issues and would sometimes hit 15-20 fps even while docked. Besides the frame rate issues, many of the port’s assets were stretched out as well. However, Aspyr Media did say that it was 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:working on fixing the issue. “Our devs are currently investigating the Switch's performance and low frame rates, hopefully we'll be able to resolve them soon.”
The poor quality of the port was unfortunate for fans of the game, who were waiting for it for a while. Republic Commando even got a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Limited Run physical release in April. The Star Wars: Republic Commando Collector’s Edition featured a neat looking steelbook, a reversible poster, a commemorative metal coin, a thermal detonator enam✱el pin, art cards, an﷽d a certificate of authenticity by Limited Run Games.
While we’re on the topic of Star Wars, the recent PlayStation showcase revealed that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic will receive a remake. It will be an elabor▨ate ground-up remake using modern technology, and not just a ♊visual remaster of what is arguably one of the most anticipated video game rereleases.
However, it appears that 168澳洲꧒幸运5开奖网:EA will not be involved in the KOTOR remake. Aspyr will be heading the development in collaboration with Lucasfilm. The two had earlier collaborated to port the game to iPhone and iPad. Geoff Keighley directly asked EA about its invo💃lvement, to which he received a reply that didn’t really say much. It seems EA is not involved, but doesn’t really want to say that directly.
