The battle between good and evil still exists outside of the Jedi and the Sith. The galactic conflict is still very much split between the generally good Rebel Alliance and the generally evil Galactic Empire. Over the years, however, this conflict has shown that it isn’t all black and white at tℱhe end of the day.
In Star Wars: Squadrons, the game begins with Lindon Javes betraying the Empire to assist escaping refugees after Alderaan was destroyed. This betrayal sparks the emotional side of th♓e battles in Squadrons and continues to show that the light and dark aren’t ༒set in stone.
9 Project S🐟tarhawk 🍌
A major development that Star Wars: Squadrons brings to light is that the Rebels briefly had their own version of a Star Destroyer called Project Starhawk. This project was an immensely powerful ship that was created with stolen Star Destroyer scraps and sported similar destructive abilities as its pr𝓡edecessor.
This type of Rebel technology raises ౠa lot of moral questions, such as: are the Rebels and the Empire as different as they appear ꦍto be if both sides are willing to display such menacing power?
8 Fri♋sk: A Good Trandoshan
Feresk Tssat, better known as Frisk, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:is part of Vanguard Squadron: the Rebel flight team that you do battle with in Star Wars: Squadrons. Frisk is part of the Trandoshan race, who in Star Wars canon, are widely known to frequent as bandits, looters, and𝔍 bounty hunters (the most famous being Bossk, one of Darth Vader’s most requested bounty hunters at the height of the Empire’s reign of terror).
Aside from a few brief mentions of Trandoshans as force-sensitive beings in other Star Wars media, there are very few cataloged “light side” Trandoshans except for Frisk. As lovable and funny as he is, Frisk shows much of the positive aspects of the Trandoshans and fights for the Reb𒁃el cause without question.
7 T🐎he Empire’s Galactic Stronghold
After the massive Rebel victory d💖uring the Battle of Endor that took place during Return of the Jedi, many people assumed that the galaxy immediately transitioned into a state of peace after the Death Star 2 was destroyed🐓 and Darth Vader and (apparently) Emperor Palpatine were defeated.
However, Star Wars: Squadrons aims to show the immediate aftermath of the Battle of Endor, and that the balance of power didn’t shift as heavily as once thought. The Empire is still holding strong, with huge fleets and admirals that are newly motivated by anger and desperation, making them more danger♓ous than ever.
6 Lindon Javes’ Continued Efforts ✅ 𓆏
Lindon Javes is one of the more interesting characters🍬 in the collection of new faces in Star Wars: Squadrons. Having defected from the Empire to join thཧe Rebel Alliance (and the newly formed New Republic), Lindon Javes became a shining leader for his flight teams.
Near the end of the campaign, Javes was presumed dead after a crash while defending the Starhawk. However, he was later revealed to have survived, ushering in Vanguard Squadron’s future to continue the fight against the 🌌Empire. Where Lindon Javes goes from here is a mystery, but his influence is sure to grace the Star Wars c꧅anon once again.
5 Shen’s Veil Of Mystery 𒈔 ꩵ
Known only as Shen, this member of the Empire’s Titan Squadron is the most mysterious of them all. His gravelly voice is matched onlyꦜ by his dark past. Due to many seemingly fatal crashes serving the Empire, only advanced cybernetics are keeping Shen alive, and he is grafted almost entirely to his flight suit.
Shen's appearance and backstory seem to mirror even that of Darth Vader’s appearance. If ℱexplored deeper, Shen’s veil of mystery is sure to be even more interesting and twisted if he were to make a return in another form of Star Wars media.
4 Te💧risa Kerrill and The Overseer 𝄹
Anytime a new evil commander is introduced in Star Wars, there is always an aura of mystery and fear surrounding them. Questions such as “which legs of thꦺe galaxy have they conquered?” and “what kind of life has led them to this position?” Often come to mind, and Terisa Kerrill embodies these questions in spades.
One of the few female Star Destroyerꦏ commanders in Star Wars💖 canon, Kerrill was once a partner and friend of Lindon Javes before he defected to the Rebel Alliance and has continued to be driven by anger to succeed. She still shows her undying loyalty to Titan Squadron, and after the events of Star Wars: Squadrons, Kerrill and her Star Destroyer named The Overseer are still stalking the depths of the galaxy, waiting to strike once again.
3 The Return Of Wedge💟 Antilles
A fan-favorite character from the original trilogy of films and more recent shows, W⛎edge Antilles is a skilled starfighter pilot that existed during the early creation of the Rebel Alliance. Working closely with names such as Hera Syndulla and late𒈔r Luke Skywalker, Antilles has played a pivotal part in the galactic struggle, all the way up to the final battle against the Final Order in Episode 9: Rise Of Skywalker.
In Star Wars: Squadrons, Antilles appears (seemingly due to his recent partnership with Hera Syndulla 🌠from Star Wars Rebels) to assist Vanguard Squadron with the defense and creation of Project Starhawk. Antilles is able to offer invaluable advice and assistance during this time, having been a part of the destruction of two Death Stars and countless battles.
2 Heꦐra Syndulla
Making her debut in Star Wars Rebels, Hera Syndulla is a Twi’lek female who has become a fan-favorite character in the Star Wars canon. It was an exciting pros☂pect to see her return in Star Wars: Squadrons, and in such a big role.🙈 Syndulla was named as a general in Project Starhawk, which after the events of Squadrons, proves that there is plenty of room for exploration of her character as a beacon of hope in the New Republic, as well as her role in creating a new fleet of Starhawk ships.
Squadrons included the first-ever mention of the Starhawk. It is heavily implied that a major event must have happened between the events of the game and Star Wars: The Force Awakens to show how Project Starhawk was eventually scrapped, or at the very least, sent to another part of the galaxy. Hera’s future 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:from the perspective of Squadrons, as well🐭 as her history in Rebels, holds plenty of potential ♉for gripping stories in the future.

By the end of Star Wars: Squadrons, Vanguard Squadron proved themselves to be a formidable defensive force for the Rebels and the New Republic.
