🍒Star Wars has its fair share o🐼f brilliant characters, from the infamous Darth Vader all the way through to the iconic Indiana Jones doppelganger, Han Solo. Only a handful have starred in their own game, however.
There's plenty deserving of their own star♔ring title, putting you into the boots of the soldiers on the ground, making the difference, but there's also plenty who should be left to the realm of comics, movies, and TV. With t💟hat in mind, here are five characters who deserve a game and five who don't.
10 ꧒ Want: Boba Fett
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter was an excellent romp, and The Mandalorian proves that there's still a thirst for action-packed, morally grey, credit collecting shenanigans, so giving Bဣoba Fett his own outing would be spectacular.
In Legends, the infamous Boba Fett survived the Sarlacc Pit's venomous attack in Return of the Jedi, and bringing this to canon through a video-game to elaborate on his character, making him truly the best bounty hun♓ter in the galaxy, could make for one of the best Star Wars games to date.
9 ℱ Don't Want: Yoda
In the original trilogy, Yoda was a reference to the Buddhist stereotype, acting as a peaceful and wise retired🍌 master of mystic arts, but that was stripped away in the prequel trilogy for a more action-packed CGI spectacle.
This has bled into other canonical works such as The Clone Wars, but Yoda𒁃's time as an unstoppable, leaping gremlin should finally be laid to rest, and a video-game centered around this small green offensive warrior wo𝄹uld only worsen this tired damage to his character.
8 ജ Want:♎ Darth Maul
Darth Maul nearly had a game, and he's the perfect candidate for one, even if his story has been told in great detail. He's an agile rogue Sith warrior, separate from the rule of two, and there's a nice gap between his time in The Clone Wars and Solo, where he establishes the Crimson Dawn.
A game in which this dark lord of the Force builds up a criminal empire, slaughtering those who would oppose him, could make for a truly engaging and thrilling experience, and𒊎 there's plenty of heart behind this passionate hunter of the Jedi.
7 ꦏ Don't Want: Han Solo
Han is the charming and lovable rogue who ended up helping the rebellion, nabbing himself a princess for a wife and a wannabe Darth Vader for a son,💫 but his adventures are mostly interesting due to his personality, and so exploring them in a game would be lackluster.
Between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, he seems to fall back into his old ways, with little development and a lot of similar adventures,🦋 meaning that there wouldn't be a lot to delve into in regards to his journey, and๊ there definitely wouldn't be a lot of freedom.
6 ♒ Want: Darth Vader
Vader's antics in the comics post Revenge of the Sith are a truly engaging read, as he slaughters the Jedi with his merry band of Inquisitors, which is touched upon in Jedi: Fallen Order and Rebels.
However, being abl🔯e to step into the shoes of༺ that monstrous beast as he takes down the remnants of the order would be both incredibly fun and a step into villainy that has been sorely lacking, especially after Iden's twist in Battlefront 2.
5 🦩 Don't Want: Kylo Ren
Comparatively speaking, Kylo had a fairly short life, dying around the age Anakin was when he burnt to a crisp on Mustafar, transforming from Hayden Christensen to James Earl Jones before letting out a hilarious and bellowi▨ng no.
As such, there's not a whole lot of his life undocumented that could be 📖explored in video-game fashion, seeing as his time as a Jedi would've been fairly uninteresting and his life as a Knight of Ren being well-documented.
4 Want: Cap🐟tain Phasma 🅰
Captain Phasma, like Boba Fett, wa♔s a brilliantly designed character that was intended to sell toys but ultimately was wasted and didn't do a whole lot - so, what better way to redeem such an interesting idea than with a video-game?
Does she survive post The Last Jedi, or do we sꦦee her origins, her climbing the ranks and her time in the First Order? There's a lot of potential, and Phasma deserves a helluva lot more respect and attention.
3 ✱ Don't Want: Bossk
There's a lot that Disney could do with Bounty Hunters, from Boba Fett to Jango to Cad Bane and Ventress, but Bossk is one that just doesn't have a hook behind him, being thrown in with his Doctor Who costume as a brief cameo, with less appeal than 𒁃his green friend.
He's not got a vastly in𝓰teresting personality and he didn't resonate massively with audiences, even if he is a pretty cool 💝looking lizard man. His potential in helming a game is limited, but he could appear in someone else's.
2 ♏ Want: Finn
Finn's time from Stormtrooper in the First Order to a hero of the rebellion has been seen in full on the big screen, but what could be explored further is his time in a post Rise of Skywalker era, where his goal is liberation, helping stꦗragglers make the leap from their white armor to the rags of the rebels.
He could do so with his newfound band of ܫex-troopers and it could allow for some emotional storytelling, and there's a whole lot of unexplored space, meaning that Disney could award a lot of freedom to the title.
1 Don't Want: Land♔o
Lando's ending in Rise of Skywalker seems to hint at a potential Disney+ show, with him reuniting with his daughter, coming back to the Resistance outpost with Leia now passed away, Han long-gone and Luke a force ghost.💟 At least he has Chewbacca and the♒ Falcon.
Since he will either be getting a Disney+ show, a comi🧸c or simply being left with a nicely closed-off ending that doesn't go much further, there's not a lot of need for them to delve any further into , and given his age, he might not make for the best playable character.
