For some time now, we've been hearing rumblings that Respawn is teaming up with Bit Reactor for a tur🍃n-based tactics 🏅game set in the Star Wars universe. We got confirmation of the project earlier this week, , but we🅰 finally got a proper look at the game in action during Day 2 of Star Wars Ce🦄lebration.

As part of a dedicated panel for the game, and a release window of 2026 was confirmed. Most of the trailer is CG and just sets the tone for the adventure, but it did give us a bit of a synopsis. Zero Company will be a "gritty and authentic story" set during the Clone Wars, and it'll let you play as Hawks, a former Republic officer𝔍 who leads the new group.

Towards the end of the tra🀅iler, gameplay footage of Zero Company was briefly shown off, giving us a glimpse into its turn-based tactics gameplay. Just like you mi♋ght have imagined, it looks very similar to , but with some unique Star Wars twists. If you've played X-Com, that'll certainly be good news.
