Coral Island doesn't do much new, but it does everythingܫ pretty damn well.

He then jokes that he's getting "back to the grind" to get the 1.6 update ready for launch, and will see us again on March 19.

It's not surprising to see that 1.6 will go live almost a year after it was announced. Last month, ConcernedApe said that t♔he update ended up being "larger in scope" than what was initially planned. He only recently finished working on all the new content that will be added, and has since been bug-fixing to make sure it's all ready to go in March.

We already have a decent idea of what will be included with the update, with ConcernedApe previo🦹usly announcing new festivals, recipes, late-game content, dialogue, farm types, and much, much more. PC players will also exclusively receive support for up to eight-player multiplayer.

This date of March 19 only applies to anyone playing Stardew Valley on PC. Anyone else playing on the other platforms that it's available on - PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile - is in for a wait, but we don't know how long this wait will be exactly.
