Stardew Valley Creator Puts Haunted Chocolatier On Hold To Focus On Console Update

Solo dev ConcernedApe confirmed last month that it's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:"still in progress" and that he has been "working on the mobile port every day". Last night, he revealed that he has even stopped development on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:his next game Haunted Chocolatier to focus on getting update 1.6 live across ot꧅her platforms.

ConcernedApe Hasn't "Touched Haunted Chocolatier In A Long Time"

"Console and mobile ports are still in progress," . "I acknowledge that they are taking a long time. There are reasons for this, but the bottom line is that they are not out yet, we are still working on them, and they have been our primary focus since 1.6 came out for PC. It would be a huge relief to me if they were ready today, but they aren't, so all we can do is continue working on them until they are ready.

"I have not touched Haunted Chocolatier in a long time because I am committed to finalising Stardew 1.6 first. To those who are frustrated or even [angry] about the timeline,🐭 I understand 💙and accept full responsibility. To those who are patient and understanding, thank you, you make life better and reduce stress".

A big question many fans have is why the update went live on PC to begin with 🔯rather than waiting for it to be ready across all platforms—one of the major issues this has created is that all of the wiki information includes 1.6 features and changes, confusing anyone who plays on console or mobile.

"A big reason is that on PC, if there are bugs, they can be fixed really quickly," ConcernedApe explained. "On console, it takes much longer to get a patch into the hands of players. So it's ideal to have all major issues resolved before submitting to consoles."

So, while console and mobile players have been left waiting for months, the upside is that they'll get a more polished version of 1.6 when it does eventually release.
