Maybe It's Time For ConcernedApe To Let Go Of Stardew Valley
How long can one man be expected to work on ൲one game?
It's not surprising then, that Barone has a hard time moving on from his passion project. The creator, who is actively working on a new game titled 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Haunted Chocolatier, constantly finds himself back where it all began. But there's a good reason for that.
Barone Feels 'Responsible' For Every Aspect Of Stardew Valley
, Barone charted hiꦯs journey from wannabe musician to gaming royalty. Those roots have continued to follow him to this day. Channeling his passion for music, Barone sees himself as an entertainer.
"I feel a pressure to have a presence because there's a million people who decided to follow me. I don't want to just do nothing, you know?”
And so, with millions devoting themselves to Stardew Valley, Barone feels a responsibility to be as hands-on as possible. Even though he has since hired a team, Barone is intimately involved with every aspect beyond gameplay, li🐟ke the board game or concert series.
“I feel responsible for any issues that people have, or if anyone doesn't enjoy the game or has a bad time,” he said. "... It's weird because Stardew has grown into something beyond me, but at the same time, I s꧂till feel very personally responsible for the brand and the concept of Stardew Valley."
Haunted Chocolatier Will Be Ready When It's Ready
Barone has started work in earnest on his latest project, but because of his connection to Stardew, always manages to find a way back to where it all began. He asserts that the Haunted Chocolatier will be released when it's ready, and compared to Stardew, he isn't concerned about the pressure because it's his choice alone to make it.
"I don't feel like I owe anyone anything when it comes to Haunted Chocolatier," Barone asserted. "It's a game that I'm deciding to make. I don't need to make it."
Put simply, don't expect Barone to give up on the game that got him this far. Instead, expect him to remain as passionate as the day he began working on it.
“Once I reopen the book on Stardew, I always have a hard time closing it again because I always want to add more things, make it better, make it cooler, make people happy,” Barone said. "... It's gonna be part of their experience. It could make a memory that they might cherish forever. That's a special thing. It's hard for me to not want to do that.”
