With three distinct areas of the mines each containing individual resources, gems, and monsters you’ll need to handle, it can be a lot to keep stra🐠ight. For some tips on how to handle yourself in the mi🐲nes in Stardew Valley, follow along with our guide as you dive deeper into the mines.
Mine Overview
There Are 120 Floors Of Resources And Monsters
In the Pelican Town mines, which are North of the Mountain Lake near Robin's house, but they're 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:blocked until Day 5 of your first year in the game by a boulder, where you'll see a construction worker chipping away. After theඣ boulder is removed, you're free to go into the mines anyt꧒ime you'd like, from the time you wake up until you pass out at 2AM.
Almost every floor will be full of rocks, assorted ores, and different kinds of monsters that become progressively tougher to handle the deeper into the mines you go. Some floors, though, are infested and therefore contain only monsters, which you'll 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:need a weapon to defeat before you're able to move on.
As this is likely the first place you'll experience Combat (unless you opted for a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wilderness Farm layout), be sure to check out 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:our guide to Combat in Stardew Valley!
In order to progress through the mines, you'll need to bring 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:your pickaxe and continue to break rocks and ore nodes until you find a ladder hidden beneath one of them. The ladder is how you access the next floor down, beg💟inning on the first floor and working your way down to floor 120 in your own꧃ time.
You'll find various floor layouts as you run deeper into the mines, with the environments changing every so often. You'll experience 30 levels in one environment before locating ten levels of a middle ground between the last and the next chunk of 30 levels. These areas often have un🐓ique enemies and resources, so be sure to explore as much as you can before you run out of energy.
The quality of the resources you find on any given floor is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:impacted directly by your Luck for the day, so it may be the best use of time to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:skip mining on bad luck days.
Unlock Elevators To Return To That Floor
Going up? Every five floors you progress into the mines, you'll find an elevator next to the ladder from which you entered the floor. When you next come to the mines, you can use the elevator at the entrance to go directly to that floor.
Even if you don't take the elevator right then, interact with the elevator to ensure it's unlocked. These provide a steady stream of periodic spots to return to later when you need to farm specific resources, so be diligen🍎tဣ.
You can leave the mines by climbing the ladder on any floor, but you'll need to use an elevator to get back down to th⭕at level again.
Unlock The Mine Cart For Easy Access To The Mines
As part of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:completing the Community Center (or taking 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Joja route - we don't judge), you'll be completing the Boiler Room bundle. This includes the Adventure, Blacksmith, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Geologist bundles.
Completeing all three will unlock the minecarts around town. These can take you straight to the mine entrance from plenty of other places in town, such as the bus stop or the area𒁏 by Clint and the Museum.
Visit The Dwarf's Shop, Once You Can Talk To Him
At the entrance toward the right, you'll find the Dwarf, a friendable NPC who also runs a shop centered around mining. The caveat is that you can't speak Dwarvish.
Before you can speak to the Dwarf, you'll need to find all four Dwarf Scroll artifacts in the mines below and turn them in to the Museum. Once you've got all four, you'ꦰll be able to speak to the Dwarf.

What Do You Get For Reaching The End Of The Mines?
On floor 120 of the Pelican Town mines, you'll find the key you need to enter the Skull Caverns in Calico Desert, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Skull Key.
You can also trigger the Shrine of Challenge, which is located on floor 120 as well. Doing so will make it so the mines are considered dangerous, which prompts tougher iterations of existing enemies, as well as some new enemies to spawn. Since you can't begin 🌟the challenge until reaching the bottom of the mines, it's a good way to keep things exciting for subsequent runs!
