Quick Links
Being an open-world interstellar RPG, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Starfield has a variety of resources that can be farmed through various methods. These r✤esources can be used for crafting, building outposts, upgrading your gear, or simply selling them off to various vendors to earn some quick cash. Helium-3 is one of these resources, and it bel🧸ongs to the gas group.
Apart from being used in the mechanics mentioned above, 🅠Helium-3 is also used as a fuel to power Fueled Generators or Cargo Links. This makes the resource quite important,♊ but you might have a hard time finding and gathering it during the early game.
How To Harvest Helium-3
The best way to get Helium-3 for beginners is by going to random planets in the Settled Systems and . This can be done by entering a certain Star System and clicking on one of its planets or moons. You'll be able to see its resources on the left panel, and if you see "He-3", it means that the planet/moon contains Helium-3.
Sometimes, you might have to set a course to certain planets if you want to see the resources on them. Some of ꦛthe early game Star Systems where you can easily find He-3 are:
- Narion
- Alpha Centauri
- Sol
- Tau Ceti
It's more common to find Helium-3 on various moons inside a Star System. You might think that it's a common resource considering the sheer number of moons you can find them on, but finding one of the Helium-3 deposits itself is quite rare. To get it, you'll be looking for some structures covered with visible toxic gas.
You have to get close to the structure and press the interact button (E on a keyboard and A on the Controller by default). Try to make this process quick since you can gain some 🦄negative effects if you stay in the toxic gas for too long.
Building A Helium-3 Extractor
Extractors are undoubtedly the best way to get a certain resource in Starfield including Helium-3. To build one, you'll have to first find a Helium-3 vein on a planet that contains the resource and then put up an outpost near it. These veins can be identified by looking for green-colored gro𝓡und through the Scanner mode.
Once an outpost is built, you can find the Extractor section in the Build Menu and build the Helium-3 Extractor there. Of course, you'll also have to build a power source to start the Extractor. As mentioned above, some power sources like Fueled Generator also need this gas to function, so you have two ways to go about this:
- Build various power sources that don't require any He-3 to function. You can easily find them in the Power tab in the Build Menu, but they provide much less power and you might have to build a couple of them to make the Extractor work.
- You can also build a Fueled Generator and supply it with a bit of Helium-3 at first. Next, you can make a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:chain between the Gene🍰rator🦹 and the Extractor to continue this supply while you use the rest of its power to get something else.
After having the Extractor built, you can connect it to a Liquid Storage, Transfer Container, or Cargo Link to rack up a bunch of Helium-3 in no time.
Buying It From Vendors
The final and easiest way to get a bunch of Helium-3 is by simply buying it from various vendors spread across the major cities of Starfield. Here are a few vendors where you're almost guaranteed to find this resource:
- Mining League (Neon)
- Jemison Mercantile (New Atlantis)
- UC Distribution Center (New Atlantis Commercial District)
- 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Trade Authority
You can head over to any of these vendors and browse their stock to find Helium-3 in the Resource tab. You'll usually find over 15 of them from one vendor. If you need more than that, there's no need to go to a different one. You can simply sit on a nearby chair and wait for 24 hours as this will reset their stock.
