The main story might feel a little slow and underwhelming when you first start playing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Starfield, but it picks up ever since you're asked to visit The Scow and get an Artifact from a renowned collector. Once you get back to The Lodge after getting that artifact, the High Price To Pay quest begins.
During this quest, you'll have to decide between staying at The Lodge or heading over to The Eye, and this will likely be one of the most important decisions in the game. Here's everything that changes based on your choice.
Getting The Choice At The Lodge
As you get back to The Lodge after the No Sudden Moves quest, Noel will mention that The Eye has gone completely dark. After a while, you'll hear Vladimir's voice where he mentions that Starborn has attacked them and they're now coming after you.🥀 He also mentions that everyone on The Eye is heavily wounded.
During this conversation, you'll get dialogues where you can either choose to stay at The Lodge or go over to The Eye. Keep in mind that these dialogues don't make much difference since you'll still get the choice after they're done. Before you make a c🌌hoic꧂e, here are a few things you need to note:
- During the dialogue, Vladimir mentions a character and says that they're still alive but there's a lot of blood. This will likely be Sarah, but in case he doesn't mention her during this dialogue, it's important to keep the character's name in mind.
- At the start of the No Sudden Moves quest, Vladimir will send one character with you to The Scow while the rest stay with him at The Eye.
Both of these characters will be a big part of your choice, and thꦛey can be different🌱 based on your playthrough.
What Happens If You Stay At The Lodge?
Once the dialogue ends, the quest will ask you to either defend The Lodge or go to The Eye. This will soon change to check on Walter or go to The Eye after you hear some choking noises. This is the last point where you can make your decision, and you'll choose to defend The Lodge if you head up to Walter.
The Hunter will appear as you get close and you'll be asked to stall him while Noel retrieves the Artifacts. The Hunter will be a strong enemy and you'll barely deal any damage to him even on the lowest difficulty. Moreover, he'll also spawn a shadow after a couple of seconds, which essentially means you'll be dealing with two Hunters.
Instead of trying to attack him, try your best to hide and not take any damage during this.
Once Noel has the Artifacts, you have to follow the entire group through a basement passage that opens up in The Well. This will eventually take you back to your ship, but The Hunter will respawn at a few places. You simply have to ignore him and keep following the group until you can take off wit꧃h your 🥀ship.
You'll then go to The Eye where you find out that you're too late and the character Vladimir mentioned during the dialogue is already dead. He'll then ask you to create an Armillary and keep the Artifacts with you.
What Happens If You Go To The Eye?
The story has a massive twist if you decide to leave The Lodge and head over to The Eye at the start of the quest. This time around, you'll be able to get back in time to save the character mentioned by Vladimir, and he'll ask you to head back to The Lodge along with this character.
Unfortunately, as you enter this area, you'll find the character who accompanied you to The Scow on the ground. Either way, someone has to die during this quest. You only have control over who you want to save. Apart from losing a character forever, the story doesn't change much from your choice.
Make sure everyone else at The Lodge is okay and head over to the basement passage to meet Noel. You'll only follow her to your ship this time around, and once again, Vladimir will ask you to make an Armillary at the end.
How To Make The Armillary
You have a choice to make an Armillary either on your ship or at one of your Outposts. Starborn attacks will be more common wherever you decide to make it, and you'll get attacked everywhere if you keep them in your inventory. Here's how you can make an Armillary on your ship or an Outpost:
Ship |
Simply head over to your Cargo Hold and you'll find a new screen beside it. This will allow you to create an Armillary there and store your Artifacts. You can still move the Artifacts to an Outpost at any point. |
Outpost |
To make an Armillary on your Outpost, you have to get within its range and open the build menu. You'll see Quest items on the first part of this menu, and you'll find the Armillary there. |
Either way, the quest ends once you head over to The Lodge and talk to Matteo there. You can also interact with the dead companion's belongings after that.
