168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Starfield is one of those games that's got something for just about everybody. If you'd prefer to stick to the main story and faction questlines, they're pretty good stuff. If you'd rather get lost in the galaxy, you can totally do that, too. Maybe you want to be a Freestar Ranger, righting wrongs and taking names.

Or maybe you want to run a bustling space resource empire, with outposts galore, and massive cargo-shipping missions that'll get you rich. If so, there are few materials more inextricably tied to this process than iron, a common metal you might think you can just grab wherever you'd like. And while, sure, you can, here's how to get gobs of iron hundreds of times more efficiently.

Building Bases

Outpost construction can be done from very early into the game. If you're on a world that'll let you build an outpost, swapping to your scanner with LB or the keyboard equivalent will let you plop one down right then and there. Of course, there's a huge difference between placing the central command flag, so to speak, and actually constructing a full-fledged, self-sufficient, outpost.

If iron is the type of ore you need, naturally, you'll want to construct your outpost on an iron-rich planet or moon. Your choices are nigh-limitless here, but a nice close place to consider is Luna, Earth's moon. Try to grab Lin and Heller as outpost crew here, since they're fairly easy to recruit, and work well in this sort of job.

Build an iron extractor, and when you can, build a companion piece that will transport the ore straight to your ship. Early on, it will be slow-going, but as you make improvements to the outpost, you'll do great.

Blasting Asteroids

And then there's our personal favorite approach, and it's something we've seen other players take to just as keenly. Enter orbit somewhere with an asteroid field. You may have thought of these places previously as little more than a (pretty) obstacle to navigating to your destination without taking a little hull scraping along the way, but destroying these rocks can produce huge deposits of ore, iron traditionally foremost among them.

Once an asteroid's been blasted, fly near the debris, so you can pick up the resources in similar fashion to how you might snag some good loot from starship debris. You can get hundreds of iron at once if you've got the moments to spare, and more importantly, the cargo space for it.
