Since Microsoft decided to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:plop down billions of dol♈la🐷rs to acquire Bethesda, you'd be safe to assume that future games from the developer of Fallout and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Elder Scrolls would be exclusive to Microsoft's various systems. That means that anyone who owns an Xbox or plays their games on a high-end PC won't have to worry about this business deal affecting them negatively.

The only people who will truly suffer from this acquisition are Playstation owners. Any titles coming out after the soon-to-be-released 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Deathloop seem unlikely to appear on Sony's consoles. That includes the upcoming space RPG 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Starfield, which despite some recent rumors, doesn't look to be coming to the PS5 anytime soon.

During a Gamescom 2021 live stream, Bethesda's senior vice president of global marketing, Pete Hines, made some comments that caused some people to believe that there was a chance that Starfield could be coming to the PS5 in the future. However, Xbox Games Marketing's general manager, Aaron Greenberg, was very quick to tweet out the message above reconfirming that the game is a console exclusive for the Xbox X/S. With one single tweet, Greenberg squashed any PS5 owner's hopes of ever getting to play Starfield.

This shouldn't be surprising considering that Microsoft has been constantly touting Starfield as one of its most anticipated exclusive titles coming to Game Pass. To have it also be available on the PS5 would have been nice, but you don't spend oodles of money on a popular developer just to let them release games on your top competitor's console.

This has to be disappointing news for PS5 owners, especially since the hype for Starfield is starting to ramp up. Recently, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:B🐻ethesda showed off three new locations in the world of Starfield, including a place where you can use fish to get high. That's right, this game has psychedelic fish. Not getting to experience that has to be a major bummer for Playstation fans everywhere.

At least PS5 owners will get to play Deathloop, which could be the final game produced by Bethesda to be released on a Sony system. The intriguing, foul-mouthed, time-looping shooter from the makers of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dishonored has an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:exclusivity deal with the PS5 that will last until next year. After that, Bethesda's games are likely locked to Xbox consoles and PC for the foreseeable future.
