When you start encountering the Starborn in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Starfield, the main story's pace picks up. After you work on some repairs for Vladimir at The Eye, he learns that an old rival of his has come into possession of an Artifact, and doesn't plan on selling it.
After completing “168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Short Sighted,” Vladimir will tell you to go to Captain Petrov’s ship, and that you may even have to resort to some below-the-board measures to get the Artifact. Here is a walkthrough f𓆉or the numerous ways to get the Artifact, and several locked rooms aboard the Scow you can sneak into.
How To Enter The Scow
First things first, you need to travel to , a moon that is in the Procyon A System.
You’ll arrive in a debris field, and see the Scow ship flying in the distance. There are two ways you can get into the Scow; you can either talk your way in, or you can attack and force your way in.
It’s easy to persuade your way in, as many options will wor𓆏k. Here are some to try:
- I’m from Constellation. We want to purchase one of Petrov’s relics. (1st turn)
- I’ve heard stories about your magnificent ship… (2nd turn)
- Do you even know who I am?... (2nd turn)
- I’m being nice by asking first… (2nd turn)
- I’ll bust through if I have to… (1st turn)
If you choose to attack instead, you’ll need to take out the engines for the Scow in order to forcibly board. The Scow is a level 10 ship, and it has support from three nearby particle turrets which can do significant damage to you.
If you haven’t 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:leveled up your piloting skills or other ship-related skills, it will be easier just to use persuasion.
What Is Behind The Locked Doors Before Captain Petrov
After entering the Scow, you’ll walk through a derelict and trashed ship to get to Captain Petrov. However, there are a few places you should stop by before you reach him. Make sure you’re ready to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:move around stealthily, as the guards won’t take kindly to you being in places you 💞shouldn’t be.
To acquire most of the items mentioned, you will need to be okay with stealing, of course.
Locked Doors #1
You’ll eventually get to a hallway that splits into multiple ways you can continue, with a guard standing in front of a locked door. The door has an Advanced-level security lock, and you can take out the guard to unlock it.
In the areas before reaching Captain Petrov, Scow Guards are spread out and few in number. You can easily stealth-kill most of these guards if you want.
Once you are inside, there will be two more guards on either side, luckily each facing away from you. Midway through this area is another Advanced-lock door, and this just takes you back out to the main hallway.
At the end of this area is another locked door next to a coffee machine, this time with an Expert-level security lock. Hack int🔯o this rooꦗm to get a bunch of items that include:
- Crafting items such as Hallucinogens and a Zero-G Gimbal
- Ammo cases with shotguns shells and various mines
- A Refined Navigator Pack and White Neon City Poncho
Locked Doors #2
Past this area, on the left side of the ship, you’ll see an alien creature’s skull on top of a stand. Nearby are sets of stairs that lead both up and down.
The stairs leading up take you to a door with an Expert-level security lock. There’s not much up here, but there is an opening that allows you to drop down into the room below. The stairs leading down take you to another Expert-locked door, which leads into the same room.
Only one Scow Guard patrols this room, which is basically an armory. In here, you’ll find multiple ammo cases, some weapons, a weapons workbench, and even some credstiks. You can even find a powerful Legendary Concussive Arc Welder in this room.
The last thing to pick up in this room will be the Scow Aux Weapons Key, which sits on a card stand by the windows. This will be an important item to access a secret room later on.
Talk To Erin September, Bull, And Raptor
When you go to continue through the ship, you’ll eventually reach the main chamber where Captain Petrov sits on a lounge like a king on a throne. Before talking to him, you can chat up a trio of mercenaries.
If you talk to Erin September, Bull, and Raptor, you have the option to uncover additional tips about the Scow. This includes alternative ways to reach the Artifact.
Of course, you’ll have to cough up some dough to know more, but it just might be worth it.

How To Persuade Captain Petrov
Captain Petrov relaxes at the end of a large museum-like room, and you'll have the option to go up to talk to him. You can go directly into attacking him if you want, but you'll also have the chance to persuade him to let you see the Artifact.
You'll likely have an unsuccessful first turn trying to persuade Petrov, but here are some follow-up options that should help you successfully persuade him:
- Ah, I get it. Your collection is too small. Hardly worth seeing. (2nd turn)
- I promise, this is just between us. (2nd turn)
- I'm sure there is a way we can both walk away happy. (3rd turn)
- What's the good of a vast collection if you can't show it off? (4th turn)
Upon successfully persuading him, he'll lead you through the ship to the vault where he stores the Artifact. Once the two of you actually reach the vault, you will need to talk with Petrov again to actually try and get the Artifact.
How To Access Petrov's Office
In the hallway behind Captain Petrov, you can see living quarters in a room to the left. If you make a detour into here, you can find several valuable items you may want to pick up:
- A copy of Petrov's Vault Key, which can be useful if you don't want to rely on Petrov at all
- An Expert-level contraband cache that contains six Sentient AI Adapters and four Xenowarfare Tech
- Some Black Market Antiquities on a shelf
How To Find The Thin Wall
Now, if instead you chose to follow to leads the mercenaries gave you to find the secret entrance into the vault, you'll be looking for the thin wall they talked about.
Go past Petrov, and through the back hallways until you reach a dimly lit hallway that ends with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of those emergency cuttable walls.
Going through this will take you into a large room with two Scow Guards, and a lower area that has a conveyor belt system. You'll want to drop down in order to find another cuttable wall, which leads directly into the special vault.
A nearby room is patrolled by one more Scow Guard, and you'll need to look for a button in here to open the display case for the Artifact. Once the Artifact is out in the open, you can retrieve it this way.
How To Release The Alien Zoo Creatures
The small zoo of alien creatures can also be found in the back hallways behind the room where you meet Petrov. It's completely your choice to release the zoo, but you'll need to have talked to the mercenary trio and learned the security password.
Interact with the computer by the zoo cages while knowing the password, and you can open all the doors. The released animals can cause a very useful distraction if you let them go, as they will attack the crew of the Scow.
The alien creatures will also fight you, and your companion will likely attack them. Run far away after releasing them to avoid the💃m.
The Locked Door Across From The Zoo
While you are by the zoo, you will see another set of rooms behind a locked door. This time, the first door only has a Novice-level security lock. There is one Scow Guard that will be in this area.
There is another locked door in this area that can be unlocked with the Scow Aux Weapons Key, which you could find earlier in one of the locked rooms before reaching Captain Petrov. In here, you will find:
- A Novalight Particle Beam Pistol
- A Suppressed Razorback Pistol
- A Tombstone Rifle
Escape The Scow With The Artifact
Whether you snuck through the cuttable wall, attacked your way through, or followed Petrov down to the vault to see the Artifact, you're leaving with the Artifact one way or another.
While you may have avoided open fighting up to this point, you should be prepared to fight your way out if something goes sideways. Get back to your ship with the Artifact.
Before you leave; inside the main entrance of the Scow, you can drop down to a lower storage area to pick up some crafting materials, digipicks, and credstiks.
Travel back to Alpha Centauri and return to the Lodge. To finish the quest, all you have to do is add the Artifact to your collection.
Adding the Artifact to your collection will immediately begin "168澳洲幸运5开奖网:High Price to Pay." Only add the Artifact if you are ready to go straight into the next main quest.
