Shanghai, or rather, what's left of it, is one of the many landmarks on Earth you can visit in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Starfield. Like every Earth landmark, however, you'll first need to read a specific book. These books are rare, and owing to their rarity, grant the gift of precise coordinates. Touch down on the Earth's surface here, and you'll admire Shanghai's most iconic building, as well as a snow globe that's there just because.
These 'just because' snow globes are all over Earth, in fact, and even beyond. Collecting them all requires extensive knowledge, and today, we're applying that knowledge specifically to Shanghai.
How To Get The Shanghai Starfield Landmark
Before you can find the requisite book to unlock the Shanghai landmark, you will need to trigger the 'First Contact' quest by grav jumping to the Porrima System. 'First Contact' is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:pretty extensive - and fun - side quest, but for the intents of this guide, all you really need to do is try hailing the big ship you'll see in orbit upon your arrival.
Dock with the ship, and after the introductory bits with Captain Breckenridge are behind you, take the ship's lift down to the mess hall, then enter the classroom. You'll find a bunch of kids, predictably, as well as a teacher - the predictability continues. Behind the teacher, on the ledge in front of the whiteboard, is 'Essentials of Modern Macroeconomics'. Simply pick it up and read it🌊. The Shanghai landmark is now unlocked.
The Shanghai Snow Globe
Grav jump to Earth. (You'll have to exit the ship on your own first; if you're lost here, activate the Shanghai quest and follow the blue footprints on your scanner toward the airlock.) Keep that quest active, touch down on Earth at the specified landing site, and then follow the footprints ahead a little in front of the tower.
Here, you'll get your snow globe, and the activity ends with 100 experience points earned. Of course, you should take a moment to admire this bygone relic of human civilization, too, and to marvel at the tremendous achievement its construction regales. And if you're ever in the area in real life, do visit the tower; it's even more impressive IRL!
