After talking to Simon, head over to Saturn's orbit and The Datura will automatically hail at you. Choose the following options for a non-violent outcome:

1. I'm here to save your life (The options here don't matter, but your companions will like this one.)
2. I'm here to discuss an alternative to killing you.
3. Simon will stop if he believes you're dead.
4. Simon wants your gun as proof of death.

After choosing these options, Malai will ask you to board her ship if you want the gun, and she'll also promise to not harm you. However, that will change as soon as you talk to her. At this po🌄int, you can choose the following options if you don't want to kill her:

1. I'll take her off your hands.
2. [Persuade] If you want to come out of this deal alive, I'd rethink your position.

Of course, you can always press the Attack option to be done with all this quicker.

If you choose the violent approach, make sure you board The Datura and take Ember from Malai's body.

How To Acquire Ember Pistol

You'll get the Ember pistol from Malai no matter which option you choose. If you Persuade her successfully, she'll give it to you, and you can just find it on her body if you have to defeat her. Once you have the weapon, take it back to Simon and tell him that you held your💦 end of the bargain.

As you're about to hand over the gun, he'll say that you can keep it and he just wanted to see it as proof of Malai's demise. With this, you'll get to keep♈ one of the best pistols in the game with a bunch of great mods already applied to it.

How To Get The Datura Ship

It might be easy to get the Ember pistol in Starfield, but getting The Datura won't be so easy because of the moral decision that you have to make. There are a couple of ways to get this ship:

1. You can simply attack The Datura when you see it during the Top Secret quest for the first time. However, you'll need to make sure that you have the advanced targeting system unlocked since you have to get rid of the ship's Engine without defeating it. Once done, simply board the ship and kill Malai.
2. The second way to get this ship is by persuading Malai to let you board. As mentioned above, you can either kill or Persuade her to give the Ember pistol. However, you'll have to kill her if you want to take control of The Datura. Once defeated, you can simply pilot the ship.
3. If you're already past the quest and have Ember using the process mentioned above, you have a chance of getting attacked by The Datura randomly during your adventures. When you get attacked, simply follow the first step to acquire it.

Once you start piloting the ship, you'll have to register it if you want to keep it for a long time.

If you kill Malai after Persuading her to give you Ember, your companion might dislike your actions.

How To Get The Project Dominion Files

After getting the information from Simon, head over to the Notes section of your inventory and look at both the new items. On one of the items, you'll be able to see Stanley McMillan's schedule. This person sits on the computer where you'll find the required files that you have to steal, so this schedule is important.

Head over to the blue mark after interacting with the two items and depending on the local time, you might find Stanley sitting there.
