The rest of the Star Fox team arrives in Starlink: Battle for Atlas’s Crimson Moon update.

Somehow, without ever really intending to do it, Ubisoft accidentally created the fourth Star Fox game. It’s not called Star Fox--it’s actually called Starlink: Battle for Atlas, and it was originally intended as Ubisoft’s cool “toys-to-life”🌟 sci-f🥃i space shooter game.

Ubisoft still had a partnership with Nintendo in place when it was released back in October, so to give the Switch a li𒆙ttle extra love, they added in Star Fox as a bizarre playab🤡le cameo.

Then Starlink flopped on every system except for the Switch, so now Ubisoft is doubling down on turning their game into Star Fox 7. Unofficially.

Star Fox is joined by the rest of the gang, including Peppy, Falco, and Slippy, as they hunt down the villainous Wolf O’Donnell and occasionally help the rest of the Starlink characters. Each new pilot comes with their own unique ability and skill tree and will be available along with the rest of the Crimson Moon update coming on April 30th.

🃏Oh, right, and the rest of the game is getting an update too.

A mysterious Crimson Moon has arrived in the Atlas system and has begun advertising itselfღ as the home of the Outlaw Games. Upon arrival, you’ll be able to take p🐎art in single-player or two-player split-screen races or survival matches against waves of enemies.

In additi💧on to the new zone, there will also be new faction story missions for characters, to areas to explore, and weekly challenges.

Along with the 3 new Star Fox pilots, there will also be 5 new regular pilots, 3 new starships, and 11 new weapon systems. None of them come free, however; each is available for separate purchase on Ubisoft’s store, while the Star Fox pilots are available in a bundle costing $15.99 on the🎐 Nintendo Switch.

Last but not least, PC players can now get in on the Starlink action. Starlink is coming to PC on April 30th and will include the Crimson Moon content update, but with no Star Fox🅠 characters. PC spec requirement💜s are available on Ubisoft’s .
