Updated July 4, 2021, by Sharnelle Earle: Though State of Decay 2 is X years old, Undead Labs still works on keeping it up to date. In an update on the 21st, new features have been added. These features make the Blood Plague more menacing. Along with what we already know, Plague Hearts will now have a larger area of effect. This means that entire neighborhoods and outposts will be unfit for claiming and living in until the Plague Heart in the area is taken down. Instead of Plague Hearts being a side objective, they will now stop you from growing your community further until you've dealt with them.
How To Cure Blood Plague Infected People In State of Decay 2
You may have gotten infected before even finding a home base to start your game so you need to be prepared early.
If a survivor is infected with the Blood Plague, there will be a temperature gauge above their health states when you take control of them. By building an infirmary at ♔your base, you can select survivors to rest and recover from infec🏅tion.
If the temperature gauge is low, all they need is a rest at the Infirmary. If the gauge is high, they need a cure. To craft a cure, you need at least five Plague Samples. Plague Samples are dropped by plague zombies.
Using a crossbow yields more samples than killing them with pistols or by melee. To find plague zombies, you can just drive around until you see some red eyes in the distance or you can take your chances with a💟 plagℱue heart.
A level one infirmary should have the ജoptions to treat plague & infection, craft items & produce meds, and medical help.
- To allow a survivor to rest from mild infection or to postpone severe infection, you must select treat plague & infection and then select the survivor you want to help.
- To craft a blood plague cure, you must have plague samples on your person, then select craft items & produce meds. Then you will have options to craft healing items or cures. Select the blood plague cure. From here, you have to walk up to the person you want to cure and select the dialogue view treatment options.
If you want to cure the person you're controlling, press the use button on the vial of plague cure in your inventory.
Killing Blood Zombies Without Getting Infected In State of Decay 2
While you're out farming plague zombies for Plague Samples, you or your partner might get bitten. You don't want everyone getting sick and dying trying to cure one person. so try and make sure both you and your companion leave without a scratch.
One of the best ways to do this is by running a horde of plague zombies over with a car. Running over zombies lightly damages your car, but it's worth it. You can instantly kill hordes instead of trying to fight each zombie one on one.
The next best option is to kill them with a ranged weapon. When there are more than three plague zombies, you're risking more survivor infections with melee. Bring a gun with a high rate of fire or if your aim is good, a crossbow. Killing these zombies from afar 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:reduces your ꧒chanꦍce of getting infected by 100%.
If your only option is melee, make sure to take on one zombie at a time. The dodge action has invincibility f🔴rames, so try to use that to your advantage, too.

There's no one way to go about destroying the hearts. You have to figure out what method works best for you and your team. The one thing you can be sure to do is to use high-power weapons like grenades, mallets, and shotguns. Plague hearts are also susceptible to fire, so keep Molotov's at the ready.
If the plague heart is in a small house, stay outside of the house, out in the open. This way you can take the zombies down one by one without getting swarmed. You want to be alert of the hordes plague hearts spawn. Make sure to take your companion out of the house quickly. Otherwise, they won't follow you once they are stuck in the house and they will die.
Once the first horde has been killed, you can focus your damage on the Plague Heart. After a couple of hits, it will release toxic gas. This is the signal for more zombies. Go back outside and keep your distance so that you don't get overwhelmed and then infected.
When the Plague Heart dies, all surrounding plague zombies do too.
If you've helped out an enclave of traders and they think highly of you, they can aid you in plague heart battles. By using your radio, you'll be able to call them on for backup. Make sure to keep enclaves happy so that they can give you these benefits.
