Steam and PlayStation Network services like the PlayStation store are down today after an apparent network outage. So far, there's no explanation for the outage, but users are unable to access Steam to purchase or download new games. The same can be said for the PlayStation network.

Certain Steam services are still available, however. Friends lists and game libraries can still be accessed, and games already present in libraries can still be downloaded. It seems the outage specifically affꦏects the Steam store, preventing users from purchas🙈ing new games.
