When someone who gives a reward has hit max friendship, they'll soon post a request to the Bulletin Board.
This is a special request, and will be denoted with flowery paper and either a long or no time limit to the request.
This is good, though, as they're often asking for complicated items that may take you some time to obtain, but these quests don't go away, so you'll always have a reminder.
