In Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, minigames are short, optional challenges for you to partake in during𝓡 your off-time from the farm.

These little games see you either challenging the folks of Forgotten Valley to contest, or helping them in some way or another.

The game doesn't tell you where to unlock the minigames - you'll need to trigger them organically in order to play them.

That said, each minigame has different availability dates when the game first unlocks, and not every game is available right away.

Some take several years to unlock, so keep talking to the folks in Forgotten Valley to try triggering new minigames 🦹in Story of Seasons: A🐭 Wonderful Life..

Grave Cleaning

Available Beginning

Year Two

Location

Oceanview Hill

Characters

Gary and Nina

It feels a bit wrong to call this a "game," but in Year Two, one of the most immediately noticeable changes is that Forgotten Valley has lost an iconic resident - Nina🌳, the sweet elderly lady with the flower clothes and ladybug hat.

Gary has moved over to Oceanview Hill, across from Vesta's Farm, and Nina is buried out in front of the house. Most mornings from roughly 6:45-8:00 AM, Gary will be outside, visiting her grave to start the day.

You'll also need to be friends with Gary before he trusts you with such a precious task.

While Gary is at Nina's grave, speak to him to 🀅begin the Grave Cleaning miniga♔me.

♌You may need to talk to him a few times, but if Nina is gone, the minigame is available.

When the game begins, your farmer will automatically march in a circle around the grave with their Brush, and you simply tap the button when prompted to scrub.

You won't make it all the way the first time, so play the Grave Cleaning minigame a handful ofꦐ times for a sweet Easter𓆉 egg afterward.

Territory

Available Beginning

Year Three

Location

The Twin's House

Characters

Charlie or Cole

The firework manufacturing twins, Charlie and Cole, are both willing to play a minigame of Territory with you once you've befriended them.

Both brothers will play Territory with you (after you've made friends with both brothers), but it's important to note that they play at different skill levels.

Cole, the nicer of the two, is easier to beat when playing Territory. Charlie, on the other hand, is said to be the local champion of the game, and his skills reflect it - he's tougher than his brother.

Though the game is called Territory both times, playing each brother counts as its own separate minigame.

This means you'll need to play both Charlie and Cole in order to ful🌟ly unlock your minigames Encyclopedia entry.

To play Territory, you and the twin you're playing against will take turns placing colored lines on aꦑ large board, placing one at a time and switch𝓡ing off.

Your goal overall is to create an entire triangle of your color lines, which will then fill in, now officially "captured" territory.

You can do this one triangle at a time, or set up larger triangles and other shapes. Making larger outlines will allow you to capture the entire space once you've closed in the shape, so long as your line has remained unbroken.

It can get tempting to try to aim for big outlines right away, but beware that Cꦿharlie and Cole are placing lines, too.

The bigger your outline, the easier it is for the Twins to interrupt it, with Charlie far more keen to do so than Cole.

The winner is decided based on who has the most territory when all the triangles have been claimed.

If you notice yourself losing early, you can quit the game by hitting the "back" option, but beware, if you're tracking records, that forfeiture counts as a loss.

You may receive a Moonite Ore for winning.

The Lei-Over Inn

Characters

Lou

Hugh

Around 10AM most days, you'll see Hugh heading into the Inn after his morning jog. He's worked up an appetite, and Lou asks for help cooking, since Hugh definitely knows how to eat.

The three of you head to the kitchen, where you help Lou by correctly hitting a series of buttons at the top of the screen.

Getting the entire string correct means your farmer will serve the dish to Hugh.

Though you can't un-give a dish, if you miss a button, however, you'll need to start that sequence of buttons over for that particular dish.

The plates stack up on the table as Hugh eats, and you're scored based on how many plates Hugh gets to eat before the timer at the top of the screen runs out.

Lou will also give you some Curry as a thanks for the help after you've finished feeding everyone.
