Where Is Kraken Located?
Kraken is located in the final area of Sunken Shrine during the main mission: Memories of Water.
Pre-Battle Strategy
Just before the Kraken battle, there is a bunch of cubes like with every other boss. Recover HP and MP and switch to the best equipment you own. For extra damage, make sure your weapons are imbued with lightning attributes. You should also equip your best gear and make sure it's imbued with lightning attributes, as Kraken is extremely weak to this. It's also a good idea to bring Thundaga spells into this battle to inflict a great 💮deal of damage.
Kraken uses a wide range of both long-range and environmental attacks to reduce your HP bar, so make sureℱ you have got an HP recovery plan prepared:

Best Team Composition
Kraken's weakness is lightning. If you set up a weapon with a lightning attribute as a special effect or a mage-derived job, you can effectively damage it. Alternatively, the combo ability from the Dragoon is also recommended, as carries the lightning attribute.
So, the recommendation is to equip the Dragoon job on Jack himself, take Sophia as a Black Mage and Ash as Tyrant to inflict lightning damage

Kraken's first phase introduces you to his incredible speed and range. Kraken can leap around attacking targets at will, due to his tentacles that can extend to cause damage. In addition, Kraken has access to several AoE attacks that can be quite problematic.
If Kraken uses the "Resentful Embrace", he will lunge forward and attack, so be sure to avoid it. If it takes a hit, you will be deprived of the player's strengthening effect. Block and aggressively aim at the Kraken's head.
By destroying a part of the head, you can seal the Kraken's "Resentful Embrace".

As the master of water, Kraken is particularly weak to lightning attacks. If you followed our advice and analyzed the battle arena environment, you may have laid eyes upon a tempting device. Avoid making this device explode until this Phase. This explosion will not only distract and damage him but also seal his "Tsunami attack".
Lightning attacks are very effective here, especially if you cover yourself with water. During this phase, however, his attack speed increases slightly, so you will have to block, parry, and dodge quickly to b𓆏eat this guy. Take adꦿvantage of moments in which he goes underwater to attack the purple device.
