Square Enix revealed a brand new trailer for 16💯8澳洲幸运5开奖网:Stranger🐟 of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin at the Tokyo Game Show,🎃 giving fans lots of juicy details about the upcoming game. The trailer opens with what appears to be Garland carrying Princess Sarah, while the fleeting text across the screen reminds us of the time loop from the original Final Fantasy and that none of the characters remember what happened at the end of the game... but states: "And now their return is upon us."
Neon — the newly revealed female ally — makes an appearance where she joins up with Jack, Ash, and Jed to fulfil the "four Warriors of Light" prophecy. There's also more than one familiar face in the latest trailer for fans of the original, such as the King of Cornelia, a memorable Bikke moment (complete with piratey accent), and Princess Sarah. We also get to see the rather awesome-looking Tiamat in what could be the Flying Fortress.
The trailer also included footage of Stranger of Paradise's more bloody action combat that sets it apart from the rest of the series, and showcased Jack in a range of available jobs, as well as highlighting enemies and boss battles, including the return of familiar monsters such as cactuar. However, the real mic drop moment came right at the end — as Garland is carrying Princess Sarah away, he tells her his name is "Garland. Jack Garland."
This leads us to believe that Jack must have forgotten that he is Garland, as during the previous trial🅰 demo, the three heroes mistook the final boss for Garland. Naturally, this ties into the idea of the time loop and the characters forgetting the previous events though.
The release date for Stranger of Paradise has been revealed at March 18, 2022, which will coincide with the Final Fantasy 35th anniversary, which is rather fitting as it uses the original Final Fantasy title as a motif, giving fans plenty of familiar ground while also delivering a brand new vision like nothing the series has ever seen before. Clearly, things aren't as predictable as you might think with the hero apparently being the antagonist of the original game, but Final Fantasy games love their twists and turns, so we'll have to wait and see.
We recently had the opportunity to speak with Stranger of Paradise's director Daisuke Inoue and producers Jin Fujiwara and Fumihiko Yasuda about the game and how they balanced keeping the spirit of Final Fantasy while undertaking a brand new change for the series. You can read our interview here.
