We've updated it with improved formatting and more breakout tips to make defeating this undead monster that much easier. We've also given it links to other helpful Strange of Paradise topics.
Where Is Dragon Zombie Located?
Dragon Zombie is the boss encounter in the Phantoms of the Past story mission set before the quest to obtain the Earth ♐Cryst🗹al. The snowfields here are deceptively vast – for the battlefield upon which the boss fight itself takes place is unnervingly small by comparison.
Make your way across the tundra, keeping in mind 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:tips we've established for the climactic challenge along the way.
Pre-Battle Preparations
It will hardly shock you by this point in the game, but the boss fight occurs in two relatively distinct phases. Dragon Zombie's tactics change midwܫay through, and your own tactics mus🅰t change in return.
Suit up in gear that reduces Poison-based damage if at all possible. In doing so, you will cripple Dragon Zombie's abilities to an appreciable degree. This is Stranger of Paradise, not Final Fantasy 5, so don't expect to mitigate all the damage through some c♑lever equipment; nevertheless, your party 𝓰will be able to shrug off certain strikes rather than run for their lives.
Recommended Jobs
You'll want a Mage on the squad for certain. Much of the fight revolves around the notion of maintaining as much range from Dragon Zombie as possible. Even when that changes, you never want to get too close to the rotting thing – therefore, Lancer and Ronin-based classes are your best bets.
Patience is Your Greatest Virtue
The fight with Dragon Zombie is not a quick one. In both phases, there are ample reasons to stay safely out of its reach at all times. This can take a while, especiall🌃y in comparison to many of the game's mor🌊e frame-by-frame pulse-pounding encounters.
Dragon Zombie seldom deals in half-measures, which is to say that the bulk of its attacks are full-blown enough to require your Soul Shield. The nice thing about this is that you'll build your gauge each time, allowing you to stagger the creatu🙈re at 💖predictable intervals.

Stranger Of Paradise Final Fan𝔍tasy Origin: We🐼apon Upgrades Guide
Upgrading equipment in Stranger ☂of Paradise costs a ton of materials, but it's good for strengthening your stats and special effects.
Boss Battle Phase One: Long-Range Spell-Slinging
This thing's a mood, isn't it? It's crumbling apart. The flesh of this boss is literally falling off its frame. But don't let a cruel case of advanced aging bring your guard down. You don't want to be anywhere near that falling flesh. Running through the puddles of... uh, flesh... causes a damage-over-time infliction that can't be countered.
- Whether you prefer to block or dodge its major attacks is up to you. Bear in mind that dodging the lunges can be rather challenging. Blocking can help with the Soul Gage, too.
- Keeping your distance and assaulting Dragon Zombie with Aeroga is prime. It's weak to Holy and Slash damage, so take that into account if your inventory is cranked for it – though this will be more important in the second phase. Right now, staying away from the big, scary monster is better than trying to whack it to re-death in too great a hurry.
When Dragon Zombie's health pool has dropped halfway, rush in headlong with Soul Burst to take things to the next level.
Boss Battle Phase Two: Tremors
Whoever said losing half one's body is enough to end a fight clearly hasn't met Stranger of Paradise's Dragon Zombie. It's more dangerous now and behaves in a more cunning and calculated manner. It's time to stand a bit closer than before.
- Dragon Zombie routinely crawls into the earth and emerges shortly after the appearance of a telltale shadow on the surface. Not to fill this guide with references to entirely different franchises, but if you've ever played Mass Effect and gone up against a Thresher Maw, the damage output from allowing Jack to get hit by the emerging Dragon Zombie is severe enough to be comparable.
- Suffice it to say, then, you'll want to run fast and far whenever that shadow appears. In fact, the best solution to the boss' ambush tactics is to never stop running in the first place. As best we can tell, the main target for this is always Jack, and if Jack is ever on the move, the blow will never land.
- When Dragon Zombie is enjoying its half-bodied time above-ground, have those Holy-elemental weapons at the ready. (If you don't have Holy-elemental weapons, that's fine; just so long as they're medium-range, they'll still carve a passable amount of pain.) A Lancer-adjacent Job Class can spread a halberd at ample distance to avoid Dragon Zombie's own melee strikes, which is excellent news because those strikes are pretty rough.
Keep a watchful eye on the poisonous puddles of flesh that Dragon Zombie will continually leave behind as little treats to kill you with, and continue to blast Aeroga on it when possible.
It will take a bit, but eventually, the last little straggling strips﷽ of flesh wi♏ll be seared off the monster, and it will finally realize it's dead.
