Nothing about who or what would be turned into squishy plushes and naturally, since then, fans have wondered what exactly from Hawkins would possibly make a good Squishmallow. Well, wonder no longer. The first Stranger Things Squishmallows have been revealed, and they're puddings from the show's resident ice cream store, Scoops Ahoy.
A first look at the Stranger Things Squishmallows was shared on Instagram over the weekend, and there are two to choose from. There's the creamy colored USS Butterscotch, and the brown, less inventively-named Chocolate Pudding. Each of them is wearing a Scoops Ahoy uniform complete little sailor hats.

Stranger Things Scoops Ahoy Squishmallows
Squishmallows has confirmed USS Butterscotch and Chocolate Pudding will be available to buy on July 25, 2024, from Walmart in the US and Smyths Toys in the UK. It hasn't clarified how much the Squishmallows will cost or what sizes they will come in. I also wouldn't recommend sitting your Stranger Things Squishmallow in a bowl of chocolates like in the promo image, although that's up to you. It does look adorable, but if that chocolate is even remotely sticky, that's a Squishmallow and a bowl of perfectly good chocolate ruined in one fell swoop, or maybe that should be scoop.
There's no indication of whether the Scoops Ahoy Squishmallows will be the only ones born from the plush collection's relationship with Stranger Things. The caption in the USS Butterscotch and Chocolate Pudding reveal notes that this is the latest from the partnership, implying that there's more to come. I'm still eager to see whether Jazwares has the ability to turn Vecna or a Demogorgon into a Squishmallow. A few of its key characters getting the Squishmallows treatment seems more likely though, possibly coming closer to season five's arrival.
