We're not entirely sure what was running through Burberry executives' minds when they pitched the idea for this crossover. Certainly, fans of both luxury fashion brands and Minecraft exist, but the demand for a crossover couldn't be that high. All the same, the Freedom to Go Beyond DLC released in November 2022, to much bafflement.

This DLC is actually quite imaginative, even if some of the Burberry connections are tenuous. It contains an admittedly gorgeous map, along with fifteen custom skins based on Burberry's fashions. Unless you're a die-hard fan of the Burberry Expanded Universe, you probably won't be familiar with most of the world's lore, but you don't need to in order to appreciate the aesthetics.
