For a game that features the Greek Pantheon, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical doesn't have a lot of romance options available. There's a lot of focus on the adventures you can take on as a newly anointed god and a great emphasis on solving a murder, so love isn't exactly a priority.
But the romance options you do have, and your choices regarding them, alter your story greatly, and it's not always guaranteed to be a happy ending. The game excels at portraying adult relationships realistically — if you can discount godhood and magic. They're not meant to be perfect, and all the options have their pros and cons. But the best among them give Grace a secure and healthy relationship.
4 ꦗ Persephone
Persephone has a lot of baggage to unpack. That's to be expected from a goddess who was 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:kidnapped to the Underworld at a young age and had to endure a toxic marriage for ages. The first time she met Grace, she agreed that Grace must be killed to keep the secret of the Idols. That's clearly not the best way to start any relationship, even if you understand the reason behind her decision.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The next time you meet, she challenges you to a fight — if you make the right decisions and approach her from a sympathetic angle, you'll see that she's not as aggressive as she makes herself out to be. However, there are still several reasons why Persephone isn't the best romance option. There's a lot of grief and anger she hasn't processed, and she has the tendency to taunt those around her. Despite being open to expressing anger, she keeps a lot of her other emotions to herself.
She's still viewing the world through survival mode because of what she endured, which can bring several difficulties in a romantic relationship. But when she does let her walls down, she'll value you more than the Underworld itself. You'll be her queen, and she'll be the sweetest person you can ever hope to be with. But realistically, it's going to be hard to stay in a relationship with somebody so reluctant to communicate their true feelings.
3 Pan
Pan isn't as bad as most of his god kin think he is, but who's to blame them when they've had centuries of discord sown among themselves? Pan has a lot of secrets to keep for sure, but he's just a guy who has a laid-back perspective on life who has a hard time opening up.
When friends and foes alike say that Pan is hard to trust, maybe it's not bad to heed their advice either. The goat man does a lot of things to his benefit, much like the other Idols. But it's hard to trust somebody who was making you choose between him and your best friend upon first meeting.
Nevertheless, this guy is a classic case of the 'not evil, just misunderstood' trope. He's not up to terrible things, he's helping out in the shadows in his own way. He also deliberately plays into people's mistrust of him to his benefit, which makes it hard for you to discern who he really is. But the romance with Pan is a whirlwind, and the banter you'll share with him is novel-worthy. As good as he is to Grace as a partner, Pan can still be cunning and might cost Grace her other relationships.
2 Apollo
Half the story wouldn't even exist if Apollo was open with Grace from the start. As the God of Prophecies, Apollo had the privilege of telling Grace what exactly he saw in his prophecy. Upon meeting him in Calliope's apartment, you'll see him weighed down by his failure to protect her. You asked for his help, and you sang a musical entourage to convince him that he would be doing you a great favor if he chose to help you. After reluctantly deciding that it wouldn't be terrible to try helping someone again, he agreed to help you.
Except he isn't the best help you could enlist. He directs you toward somebody who could be a potential suspect, but he already knew who had the greatest motive to commit the crime all along. At worst, he could've misled you without meaning to. This is all because Apollo's lost complete confidence in himself, and he believed that everybody he tried to help with his power had only been led to their ultimate doom. He's also lost the ability to care for himself as seen with the state of his beach house, so the disheveled look isn't just a fashion statement.
Depending on your choices, he overcomes these problems and takes control of his life later on. As a romance option, he's a soft and wholesome guy — but he's also 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:capable of standing up for Grace when he needs to, even if it means facing other powerful gods. Even though he's a great supporter, he keeps too many secrets and feelings to himself. Relationships rely on communication, and it's hard to be with somebody who's reluctant to share important thoughts with you.
1 Freddie
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Freddie is the best and healthiest option. She's no god, but she'll do everything she can to help you through your godhood dilemma. Even if you don't choose her, she'll have your back as your best friend and save you from sticky and snaky situations. Freddie is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:starry-eyed about Greek mythology, but it's not like she's helping you just to get to experience the adventure of a lifetime. She genuinely cares about your well-being, and she'll put her life on the line if it means saving you.
In terms of romance, Freddie and Grace's story is packed with a lot of drama that will leave you sobbing. These two are so evidently in love, that you'll be wondering why it took them this long to get together. Compared to the other options in the game, you've already known Freddie for a long time as your best friend. She has your best interests at heart, and you had time to get to know who she really is. There are no facades to break through in this story — just confessions to be had between two friends who want to be more than besties.
