A cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic future isn’t always as advanced as it seems. Sometimes it’s a dark, grim world with the worst of consequences taunting you at every moment. But despite being a world devoid of humans and most life in general, there are some truly beautiful locations you visit in Stray.
Stray consists of 12 chapters, but not 12 locations. In some chapters, you’re visiting a new area, while in othe🍃rs, you’re spending more time in big city environments. Nonetheless, some of these areas are incredibly unique, so here are 10 of the best locations in Stray ranked from📖 worst to best.

10 ✱ The Sewers: Chapter 8 🎀
It’s hard to look forward to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:visiting a place called the Sewers. The residents of the Slums 💧fear it, and rightfully so. The place is crawling with Zurks and mutated bacter๊ia. A wall of eyes looks back at you making you wonder why you chose to come here in the first place.
To make matters worse, you need to take a raft ride through sewag🔜e water to get to your destination. Also, most of the chapter is a platformer, which, though fun, doesn’t leave room for much variety.
9 Dead End: Chapte🌜r 7
Like the Sewers, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:residents of the Slums avoid Dead End. This area is where you and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Seamus venture to find his father,🍌 Doc. Because Seamus isn’t as quick as you, you’ll need toꩵ continue your journey alone until you find Doc to bring him back to the Slums.
Although the area is hauntingly beautiful, Dead End is filled with Zurks, so you don’t have too much time to admire the overgrown urban landscape. You&rsqu🦄o;ll spend much of youওr time running, and you even become injured along the way.
8 Dead City: Chapꦡter 2 🤪
Talk about eerie. You’ve just been separated from your cat family, falling deep into a dark, empty city. Dead City is a suitable name for the area, as it appears to be devoid of life. A large neon sign flickering the words “HELP” doesn’t make it🐻 any less creepy, but as you progress, you realize you may not be alone anymore.
There isn’t too much going on in this ar💃ea as it exists as an introduction to the new world you’re exploring. Companions lay dead in the streets, and Zurks lurk in narrow and dꦓimly lit alleyways.
7 🥀 Jail: Chapter 11
There is literally no reason for a cat tꦉo be thrown into jail, but some of your more unsavory acquaintances find a way to pl𒊎ace you there. Visually, the jails aren’t an attractive place to explore, but it is fascinating in terms of lore.
You’re alone again and need to find your friends, so you avoid Sentinels and traps while also finding ways to trick them. You'll even stumble upon imprisoned Companions who have had their memories wiped clean while others serve sentences of over 500 years.
6 ⛦ Control Room: Chapter 12
You don’t have too many opportunities to see an a🌠ctual clean space in the game. The Control Room resembles an airport. Everything is bright and intact, and you’ll see how above it all the inhabitants of the Control𝕴 Room were.
You can literally look out gianไt windows overlooking the Slums and Midtown, showing you how detached people must have been to these lower-income areas. But, regardless of its terrible history, exploring the Control Room is a nice change compared to areas you’ve previously explored, especially because you know you’re so close to the end.
5 The Flat: Chapter 3🌜
While🌃 traversing the Dead City, you’re following signs set up by a mysterious entity. Finall♚y, you reach the Flat, where you’re tasked with helping a being trapped inside a computer, looking for a body.
The area is tight and small but unique from others. Much of your experience in the𝄹 Flat consists of puzzle solving, and being able to meet and help B-12 only adds to the appeal of the location. Visiting the Flat is the first time you truly get an idea of what has happened here.
4 🍸 Midtown: Chapter 10
The city is a bustling and busy location with a bit more going on than what you experience in the Slums. Midtown is home to a club, clothing store, hat store, barber, and a large apartment complex. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Neon lights an🐭d holograms hover ༺over you as you walk through the city streets.
Unlike in the Slums, the city is being patrolled by robot police and Sentinels. There’s much les♉s freedom here despite having more to do. Wanted posters canꦓ be found around the area as well as Companions being interrogated. Through Midtown, you’ll also be able to access a Neco site with sanitation work still running.
3 💯 The Slums/Rooftops: Chapters 4, 5, & 6
Though Midtown is busier, the Slums are the first place you get to meet the Companions, who are much friendlier than the others you’ll meet. This community is being protected by Companions who are trying to stay afloat despite being terrified of the encroachi❀ng Zurks and an unsettling future.
The Slums are run down, but they’re ultimately more fun than other locations. You’ll have to trav🐈erse the rooftops and do plenty of climbing, providing you with an experience more unique than other areas.
2 ♋ ꦡ Inside The Wall/The Outside: Chapters 1 & 12
The game starts and ends with either being inside or outside the wall. The greatest part of either environment is that you’re getting sunlight instead of staying in darkness. The transition between being on the dark inside to being on the light and green outside is such a great c🎐hange.
You could only hope t♋hat the protagonist is reunited with his friends once entering the outside. But he’s clearly a good friend, so sur✨ely he’ll make more along the way. Soon enough, you could expect the cat to be playing with butterflies and soaking in the sunlight.
1 🍬 🧜 Antvillage: Chapter 9
Out of all the environmen𒈔ts you explore in Stray, Antvillage is by far the most whimsical despite the trash♋ blow. It’s a crossroads between the Sewers and Midtown, giving you a glimpse of the nature that remains inside the walls.

The village is also a milestone in the story, so although a short chapter, Antvillage is filled with significance.
