Capcom has revealed that a secon൩d closed beta test for Street Fighter 6 will run from December 16 to December 19. Players who were part of the first test will also instantly gain access to the second.
Back in October, a s🅰elect number of lucky gamers were given the chance to try out Street Fighter 6 in a closed beta test that took place over the course of a few days. The first test seems to have been a success for Capcom, as it's confirmed that another one is on the way in just a few weeks.
, which shar♚ed a video announcing the beta, . This beta will ꦰrun from December 16 until December 19, the same amount of time as the last test. Similarly to last time, the consoles involved in the beta are Xbox Series, PS5, and PC.
The tweet highlighting that second closed beta confirms that it'll feature eight characters (presumably the same eight as in the first closed beta), online matches, crossplay between the different consoles, and a new "input delay reduction feature". There's also the promise of some other tweaks, which we'll likely have to wait until the release of the beta to find out.
, although the rules have been changed slightly due to some people selling their beta codes back in October. This time♉ around, players will have to have their Capcom ID already linked🐬 to your platform account. Thankfully, Capcom also confirmed that it has increased the number of available spots for the closed beta this time, meaning that more people should get access.
Players who took part in the last closed beta test will thankfully automatically be allowed into this one too. The only caveat is that you'll have to stick to the console you played on last time. If you're stuck on PC and want to go on consoles (like me), tough.
