Well, we've now started our journey in the world of . But, unfortunately, our best bro just ran off. Naturally, the only thing left for us to do is track him down. And along the way, we may as well learn a thing or two from the legendary Chun-Li, right? Right!
This chapter will take us to the Chinatown section of Metro City. We'll help guide you from Point A to Point Z. Along the way, we'll point you in the direction of everything from the equipment you can win from the different citizens milling about, to the hidden SiRN Chests in this area.
WARNING: The following guide contains spoilers from Street Fighter 6's World Tour mode.
Chapter 2 - 1: Kung Fu Lessons in Chinatown
With the start of this chapter, you will now be able to select the Classic Controls option. So, if you have any familiarity with the fighting game controls, we encourage you to go to enter into the "Multi Menu", enter the "Options" menu, select "controls", and then switch "Avatar Battle Control Type" from Modern to Classic.
While the game will tell you to head to Chinatown, before you do, you will probably want to head back to Luke's gym. So, head to the northeast section of the map. While here, open up the fast travel marker in front of his gym. While none of the fighters 🐻here have any gear to claim, you can earn a ton of extra experience by completing the extra objectives fighting these people (you can see these objectives by pausing mid-battle).
If you want Blue Dye, this is the place to get it. Everyone at Luke's gym seems to carry the stuff on them.
More importantly, if you head to Luke and talk to him, you will likely have the experience necessary to acquire the Vulcan Blast Super Art. If you don't, you can fight the students in the gym and quickly acquire the XP necessary to level up.
Now, on to the mission proper. Head to Chinatown. Here, you will enroll in Chun-Li’s school and acquire her moveset. You will also get the Kikoken and Spinning Bird Kick specials. That Spinning Bird kick is also an (incredibly useful) Master Action, so it can be used to traverse the world.
You can put that spinning bird kick to good use, actually. There is a ladder near Chun-Li's students. Climb it and break all the signs. Now, use the Spinning Bird Kick to cross over to the other side of the map. You can travel along the top of the stall awnings, breaking signs as you go. You will be rewarded with Zenny and Dyes for doing so.
You will need to beat Lao Tang, Dao, and Lao Mao in combat. All three of these opponents fight using Chun-Li's moveset. Once you have beaten them, you can move on to Li-Fen. She is considerably tougher than the other three. So, if you aren't confident in your skills, you may want to grab a few items to bring into battle with you. You can also level up your connection with Luke and get the ability to call him into battle. This is a street fight, by definition they aren't fair.
Now, go talk to each student, and they will give you another tidbit of info about the world as a whole. Once you have talked to all the students, speak to Chun-Li, and she will send you back to talk to Li-Fen, who will tell you about Master Actions. After you have worked your way through all of her students, and received a piece of advice from each, you will complete the “Kung Fu Lessons in Chinatown” mission. You will be given 2000 Zenny and 5X Blue Dye for your troubles.
While you are here, you should talk to Board Breaker Ren and play a little Kung Fu Target. This game is all about trying to hit the boards as quickly, but as precisely, as you can. If you hit the person holding the board, they will fumble and you will need to wait for them to get another one before you can attempt to break that board again (which will hurt your finish time). This is a very easy way to get 1000 zenny pretty consistently. It is also fun!
Chapter 2 - 2: Canary Crate Crackdown
Now, head to the marker, and you will find yourself heading down a side street. All you need to do is to beat up a few pretty wimpy Canary Crate gang members. They all reward you with Miles for landing jump attacks, so take them out by landing strikes from the air.
Along this street, you will see an alley off to the side. Head down there, break through some debris, and open a SiRN Chest. It contains an Energy Drink M. This isn't the only chest you will encounter around here. Once you beat the Canary Crate gang members on the street, you will see a ladder marked by the mission marker. Climb to the top, and you will confront the “boss” of this chapter: Boluo.
Before you confront Boluo, there is a hidden SiRN chest in this area. After you climb the ladder from the street on your way to Boluo, use your Spinning Bird Kick to cross over to the ledge on the other side.𝓀 Break the signs and barrels here, then, use your Spinning Bird Kick to cross back oꦉver, but further down the street. Pick up the zenny sitting on the ledge.
If you look back across the street, you will see a ladder; you know the drill. Spinning Bird Kick your way over to it, climb the ladder, and you will find a SiRN chest that contains a Kick Booster. Thich is an item that will permanently increase your Max Kicking Strength!
Now, as for Boluo himself. He clearly exists to teach you about Pressure Time. Boluo will perform a flying kick frequently throughout this match. It is unsafe, so you can actually just block it and then hit him with a jab or a throw afterward. Doing so will earn you every item he is🏅 holding.
Pressure Time is a mechanic exclusive to World Tour mode that teaches you about Counter Hits. So, while in a real match, your opponent will never flash white, you will get better opportunities to deal larger damage if you interrupt a move with an attack of your own. We’re learning!
Once you beat Buluo, he will tell you where Bosch is going to be tonight. He will then hand you his license and you will have officially completed the “Canary Crate Crackdown” mission. You will be rewarded with 1000 Miles and Boston Glasses. This will aꦑlso open up new difficulty settings for Kung Fu Target!
Notable Avatars
It is worth noting that if you are looking for gear, there will be random Avatars milling about holding onto backward red and blue caps. All of them are randomized though. Similarly, you will find some people carrying around Iron Pipes. While the Avatars holding these items seem to be random, the items themselves are not. You can always locate t๊hem in Chinatown.
