Street Fighter has teamed up with wrestling promotion AEW to release just 250 of what is a ver❀y cool, but very limited edition t-shirt.
The crossover area on the Venn diagram between professional wrestling and video games is a big one. That's despite WWE 2K20's attempts to undo that relationship by what fans in both worlds consider to be one of the worst wrestling games in recent history. As for the positive side of that relationship, there are a number of wrestlers with gaming channels on Twitch and Mixer, inc🤡luding AJ Styles, ꧃Ember Moon, and Kenny Omega.
Speaking of Omega, the AEW star has already done a lot of work when it comes to connecting his new place of work and his love of video games. He is involved in what continues to be a top-secret AEW video game project and has come to the ring dressed as Sans from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Undertale in the past.
The latest Omega-led collaboration between AEW and the video game world might be the best yet. A t-shirt featuring Omega and his fellow Elite members The Young Bucks squaring off against Ryu, Ken, and Akuma from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Street Fighter. Not a completely random combination as the wrestling trio dressed as the three characters from Street Fighter during 2019's Fyter Fest.
The t-shirt is a collaboration between Capcom and Nerds Clothi꧟ng and is a very limited edition offering. In fact, it is so limited edition that by the time you read this, the shirt will have probably sold out. Only 250 have been made and not only does it cate💃r to two different audiences of which many members will want one, but it's also a pretty cool t-shirt to boot.
On the bright side, it almost definitely won't be the last time AEW teams up with a video game company of some sort to release special merch. Omega will make sure of that. This coming Wednesday will be night two of Fyter Fest, an AEW event that ran in✨ conjunction with fighting game tournament CEO during its first year. Although that didn't appear to be the plan this year, pandemic or not, the t-shirt release appears to be a way to keep that connection alive.
