This awesome Chun-Li cosplay was self-posted to Reddit by CherishedPug, who also goes by SenshiMaddy. CherishedPug mentions in her post that out of all her cosplays (which she's done many), her Chun-Li is the one that gets her stopped for pictures the most. And it's easy to see why as all the little details she put into her costume really adds to the awesomenes🌃s of the cosplay.
Chun-Li isn't the only heroine she cosplays, if you check out her Instagram , you'll find some of her other cosplays of D.Va, Rogue, and Sailor Venus!

7 Ladybeard

Cosplay knows no limitations like ethnicity, size, or gender, and𒁏 this awesome Chun-Li cosplay by is proof of that. "Ladybeard" is the stage persona of Richard Magarey, a stunt actor, pro-wrestler, singer, and idol. Though he's originally from Australia, he's made quite the name for himself in Japan with both his presence in the ring and with his musical style "Kawaiicore," that blends J-pop with hardcore metal.
Rocking out and kicking ass in skirts and frills is the norm for Ladybeard, and he took on cosplaying "the strongest woman in the world" back in 2015. Chun-Li isn't the only Street Fighter character Ladybeard has cosplayed, 🍌he's also showc𓆏ased a pretty steller Cammie cosplay as well.

Ever played Street Fighter and your opponent picks the same character as you, causing one player to swap to another co🐭lor palette for that character? Or maybe you have a favorite non-default color palette for your fighter of choice? Xen's Chun-Li cosplay is giving off major "2P" Chun-Li vibes, which is awesome!
Based on Chun-Li's classic Street Fighter look, Xen showed off this cosplay at MCM London Comic Con back in May of 2019. Xen has cosplayed several other amazing ladies including Cammie from Street Fighter and Rey from Star Wars.
2 Yaya Han
Via:
Yaya Han has one of the more ornate looking Chun-Li cosplays on t✃his list with her "Art Nouveau" Chun-Li. The design is based o⛦n the beautiful artwork of , which Yaya describes as being up to her "alley aesthetically" and was a project that was more "challenging" to her than a default Chun Li costume.
Yaya Han spent 50 hours working on t🦂his cosplay, using fabrics like silk taffeta and Dupioni silk. On her website, she goes into full detail on how she created all the beautifully intricate designs. Razvan-Sedekiah's artwork of Chun-Li is amazing and it's awesome to see i♏t brought to real life by the talents Yaya Han.
1 ꦬ Yuan Herღong
Via:
One of the things that can be said about the Street Fighter franchise is tha🦂t they're not afraid to give their female characters the body types all their training would give them. With how powerful Chun-Li's kicks are and how her legs are the focus of her fighting style, the thickness of her thighs makes sense.
Y🎀uan Herong might be one of the closest examples of a "real-life" Chun-Li. Yuan Herong is a bodybuilder and doctor from China. She's come in second in a Chinese bodybuilding contest and has earned the nickname "Chun-Li." It seems only fitting that she cosplays as Capcom's "strongest woman in the world."
