Street Fighter is one of the most iconic video game franchises, along with Mortal Kombat and perhaps Tekken. And the series deserves its popularity. It brought innovative fighting to both arcades and home consoles. It also showed gamers that button-mashing isn’t the best way to gain the most from these types of games; skill an🔥d practise are just as important.

Aside from the fighting itself, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Street Fighter also has some of the most popular characters in any fighting s﷽eries. Ken and Ryu especially stand out, and even gamers who don’t play fighting games tend ♍to know them—and their popular Hadouken move.

However, in their quest to create the most unforgettable character roster among fighting video games, Capcom did end up with a few duds. In fact, some of the characters in the series are so weird that they feel like they should have been in another video🐟 game franchise. Without further ado, here are 10 of the weirdest characters Capcom has 𒁏created for the Street Fighter franchise.

10 𓂃 Doctrine Dark

Doctrine Dark is a character who looks like he belongs in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat more than Street Fighter. First of all, he wears a special respiratory mask along with blue clothes. These are fairly reminiscent of Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero. His outfit also resembles a police officer’s, so he also gives off vibes of Mortal Kombat’s Stryker.

Even Doctrine Dark’s moves feel like they were ripped off✨ Mortal Kombat. He uses blades like Baraka, and he even pulls opponents towards him with a grappling line—like Scorpion. These are too many borrowed elements to feel like coincidences.

9 Hakan

Even for wrestlers, Hakan stands out for his strangeness. He has all-white eyes, blue hair and red skin; not exactly accurate for a fighter who suppo𝔍sedly comes from Turkey.

It’s not just his physical appearance that’s strange. Hakan’s move list also seem like they were made for another fighting franchise. For starters, he carries around oil barrels so he can douse himself just before a fight. He then uses his slickness in a lot of his moves, which should—pun intended—make him a slippery fighter. However, he ends up 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:feeling strange more than anything else.

8 ꩲ Darun Mister

Many of the fighters who’ve appeared in Street Fighter have been a bit strange; but Darun Mister takes the cake. He’s an Indian wrestler who first appeared in Street Fighter EX as a secret fighter.

Darun Mister initially challenges Zangief, and because of his country of origin, the developers could have had some fun with his move set. Instead, he weirdly has similar grappling moves to Zangief, and even his build is almost the same. Darun Mister honestly feels like the developers were trying to meet their character quota and they hit a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:creative block when developing him.

7 Akuma

Akuma is the most infamous villain in Street Fighter. Just so he could have a worthy adversary, he drove Ryu to becoming a merciless kil🦩ler. He is also one of the series’ strangest characters. He has pointed teeth, red hair tied into a topknot and crimson eyes. He basically looks like a demon.

His abilities also stand out✃ in terms of their weirdness. His most infamous one is how he can literally tear apart his opponents’ souls using his bare hands✅. He also has stronger abilities than his opponents, like the Gohadoken.

6 Q

Making his first appearance in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Q is a mysterious fighter that the developers created to look like a film noir detective. He wears a trench coat, a featureless mask and a hat. The developers intentionally made it unknown whether Q was human or not. And they even gave him a mysterious background: he randomly appears in various places around the world, and he might be linked to some natural disasters. Not that it mattered, though. In the end, Q can only be described as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a misstep by Capcom.

5 Dan Hibikꦗi

Dan giving a big thumbs up

From the outset, the developers intended Dan Hibiki to be a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:joke character. He was their attempt to parody Art of Fighting’s Ryo, whom they be𒀰lieved was a parody of their own Ryu. They made Dan Hibiki a hopeful martial artist who was actually among the worst ever.

Dan Hibiki feels a little too light-hearted for a series ♔like Street Fighter. It also doesn’t help that his move list is so uninspiring. His moves are basically nerfed versions of Ken and Ryu’s. Any player who actually wanted to win a match would not pick Dan Hibiꦏki; unless they wanted a handicap, of course.

4 Skullomania ♋

Skullomania is a third-rate businessman who one day gets bored of his mundane life and chooses to become a superhero. He even dons a full-body skeleton suit along with a red scarf. He has definitely stood out in the Street Fighter games he has appeared in, but not in a good wඣay.

While the game franchise’s cast of charಌacters might be flamboyant at times, few of them are on the level of Skullomania. His moves sound goofy—Skullo Dash is just one of t꧑hem—and he even has a silly arch enemy.

3 Necro

First appearing in Street Fighter III: New Generation, Necro is a Russian who has the superhuman ability of stretching his limbs like rubber—he’s basically Capcom’s 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Monkey D Luffy. Ho🔯wever, that’s not all this fighter can do. He can also create electric currents that run all over his body. Apparently, his abilities are a result of the Secret Society conducting experiments on him. Necro is also bald and completely white-skinned, with some red markings on both his shoulders and♛ face.

Necro looks like he’d fit in an ൲X-Men game; he’s practically a mu💧tant.

2 Blanka

One of the oldest characters🌌 in the series is also one of its weirdest. Even though the developers later branded him a “feral man”, Blanka’s appearance and abilities make him anything but. ♎He’s green-skinned, has long, wild orange hair, and looks like The Hulk more than a man, feral or not. Blanka’s abilities are also more monstrous than human. He can roll himself like a ball, and he even has the ability to generate electricity!

Blanka looks and feels like a character who would be at home in a franchise like Mortal Kombat. He 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:sticks out in Street Fighter, 𓂃but that’s probably the reason why some fans adore him more tha꧑n the other fighters.

1 Twelve

First of all, Twelve is one of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:strangest-looking characters in any fighting game. Even though he can morph into any form, his default is a smooth, featureless, pure white semi-solid humanoid. His appearance largely resembles Spell Seijin from Ultraman.

Twelve doesn’t even have a personality to speak of. Instead, he copies his opponents’ phrases. His only other way of expressing himself is by using binary code. Needless to say, his fighting style is j🐬ust as strange as the rest of him. He can extend and transform his limbs into various shapes, and can even copy the anatomཧies of other humans or animals.
